Re: The best new and returning TV series of 2017?

Finished Season 2 of Stranger Things. As nostalgic as Season 1, some cool character development and new combos and overal fun a FPS horrifying in equal measure.

And Winona Ryder can still seriously flat out act.

Re: All Blacks discussion - post RC and the EOYT

Seriously like the squad named for the AB development tour of the Northern Hemisphere. A potent mix of experience and youth. A solid AB year of trophy retention and player development. The bubble has burst a week bit this year with a bit of air escaping the balloon. A valuable year between World Cups.

Re: RC: Springboks vs All Blacks - Newlands

The ABs continue to build on their impresssive legacy with today’s win The ABs now have 23 wins in 49 test in Africa. The Boks have 25 wins with 1 draw. If the ABs can get over the 50% win ratio in Africa that is just about their real last barrier smashed. Over history the ABs have played 562 tests ...

Re: RC: Springboks vs All Blacks - Newlands

A lot of crystal ball gazing here post match. This was a banana skin test for the ABs. Saffas were desperate. A dead rubber for the ABs. The reality is the ABs have lost 800 test caps since the 2015 World Cup Final. They don’t play with same personal test to test. They’ve used 36 players during the ...

Super test and real character from both sides today. ABs really know how to deal with adversity these days. Injuries, dispruption, pressure .... they even got the rub from a French ref today. About time.

You reckon that travelling from Australia to NZ will impact the Springboks?
Potentially. 7 1/2 hour flights and 4-5 hours difference. All adds up. Many crumbs make a sandwich.

30 bowlers have taken 300 or more test wickets That is the cut off point. That leaves an active spinner like Ashwin off the list (he’s in the 290’s) Indians on this board will be livid. CPI index awards points for milestones. The stats below are well documented career stats 1 point for a 4 for 5 poi...

Re: Jimmy Anderson: "100% best fast bowler ever"

Whilst the ICC rankings are interesting they do only refectory the highest ppoint someone got in their career not the quality of the career overall. Case in point is Hadllee whose career got better and better , much like Anderson. A fairer system would be to loom at the CPI ratings for the bowlers. ...

Read was excellent tonight. Ran strongly from the scrum. His only blemish was a stupid grubbed from the base of a scrum. Tackles his arse off, decisive with his decision making, ran strongly and chipped the ref for 80 minutes. Critical to our line out (which missed Whitelock tonight) A big game from...

Re: Jimmy Anderson: "100% best fast bowler ever"

Jimmy Anderson can certainly be rated as one of England's finest test bowlers. And a master of the Duke ball. However away from home and English conditions he has 149 wickets at 35.36. That's hardly world class. Hadlee, for example took 230 wickets away from home at 21.72 Lillee averaged 24.28 away ...

Enjoyed that test match. Both teams came to play and it ebbed and flowed nicely. However the ABs turned on the afterburners when Barrett went to the bin and the Argies struggled to stay in it. A good test for. Number of young ABs under pressure so a good experience for them. Should be an interesting...

Machete order.

A New Hope
Empire Strikes Back
Attack of the Clones
Revenge of the Sith
Return of the Jedi

So cut of Phantom Menace as it's largely irrelevant and the Machete order preserves all the twist and makes one even better.

Police have now opened a murder investigation believing the scene was set up to resemble a suicide.

With regards to motive one theory is both Bennington and Cornell were close to exposing a peadophile ring linked to Hollywood.
