Re: 2 All Black thugs cited!

I believe the citing commissioner and or the teams can refer the citing's . I also believe that all cards for foul play are instantly referd. Yes that is correct. Fekitoa will probably get some time off, that was a dodgy tackle. Cane on the other hand was clearly a head clash and nothing will come ...

Re: 2 All Black thugs cited!

I don't care about the AB citings. 2 weekends ago the ABs turned up to Chicago and played touch rugby in one of their worst defensive efforts ever. It was embarrassing. This last weekend they put the ship right and hoed into and cut down anything that moved. Good on them and the result is in the pap...

Re: France vs. New Zealand: Official Match Thread

Hopefully Kaino is back for this test to lead the defensive effort. Re jerseys isn't it the home side that are required to change their strip. Why are the French making their blue darker to match the AB's Have the NZRFU rolled over to allow the French their normal strip so addidas can release an AB ...

Re: Official Match Thread: Wallabies EOYT - Ireland v Austra

I think Ireland will struggle this weekend. The ABs might have sucked the last pint of blood out the Irish bodies. A week ago I wanted Ireland to win vs the Wallabies. Not anymore. The AB showed them up as a pack of soft cocks in the weekend. Perfect fodder for a Wallaby side with a solid skill set....

Re: Any word yet on a citing for Sexton's high tackle?

Cane will be fine, he was unlucky and it was a split second collisio/head clash. Feki might get a week but he was sanctioned with a yellow which is about right. He'll want to reflect on his technique there though as it was unnecessary (but helped stop a try threatening movement). ABs have to have fa...

Re: New Zealand targetting players

I don't have a proble3m with the say the kiwis played. Yes it was a bit dirty but they are kiwis and it's what they do. It's up to the ref to police it properly. It's not that long ago they attempted to murder an Irishman so in the great scheme of things And Pyper policed it as he saw it. Penalty c...

Re: New Zealand targetting players

If an All Black team had: 66% of procession 70% territory 15 vs 14 for 1/4 of the match 14 vs 4 penalty count ... and lost a key test 9 - 21, then coach and players careers would be over. Captain would fall on his sword and the country would implode. So either the Irish choked or the defensive and m...

Really suprised Sexton wasn't pulled up despite Barrett scoring the try. Thought NZ deserved a half way penalty once the try was awarded. It was dirty play from Sexton.

If the (very few) Irish want to whinge about the result at least whinge if winning tries came from forward passes or the ref not bowling you penalties. But to lose when the ref blew a homer, you had territory and procession stats and against 14 for 1/4 of the match then at a) acknowledge a fearsome ...

An important "lil" innings for Williamson. Been a bit scratchy by his standards over the past couple of test series in tough conditions. Sets him up nicely for the home summer. Raval looks a pretty organised opener. Knows where his off stump is and has softish hands and it helps NZ to have 2 lefties...

If there is one thing you must do its win your home games and series. A promising start to home summer but it won't get any easier with the ball tamperers arriving in late Feb.

Another great showing from Ireland, they really are a well drilled outfit. We were so ill disciplined, was a frustrating watch. We did defend superbly well, that's a bonus. It was a great test match where the better team won, same as two weeks ago. Everything else is just noise. Exactly

So very Crappers.

Seriously we need to build an indoor greenhouse with dust bowl practice pitches and fly in subcontinient street cricketers and Nike factory workers who spin the ball twice as much as our domestic players.

NZ is so susceptible to either extreme pace or extreme spin.

If the Wobboes want a successful tour up North they need to really nail their kicking game, breakdown work and tackling. Too much to fix in too short a time.
