Re: WALES Vs FIJI 2023 RWC Match Thread - Group C

So no chance for Volavola then? Tela was ok for the Drua. He should get the nod for Wales. Lomani is the guy who can control things if required. If Lomani starts we're toast. Only thing he can control lately is his ability not to provide fast ball. Maybe he needs a haircut to make his brain work a ...

Re: WALES Vs FIJI 2023 RWC Match Thread - Group C

I doubt we have the fitness to play the whole 80 with the France game plan. We'll need a kicking game to compliment that, problem though the two fly half needed for that Muntz and Volavola are out. Botitu is a running flyhalf and we definitely don't want to be doing that as history have shown we run...

Re: WALES Vs FIJI 2023 RWC Match Thread - Group C

Simon Raiwalui explained that the reason he dropped Volavola is because he doesn't fit into the playing style he wants to implement. The game against Japan which Volavola played and excelled in is a similar style to the England game plan style both of which Fiji won. The France game style was more f...

Re: WALES Vs FIJI 2023 RWC Match Thread - Group C

The win was historical against England but to me I wasn't overly concerned about it as much as how our forwards played and how we can stay in the game for 80mins. Infact both games against France and England showed to me at least that our forwards have improved when playing tier one teams. Our line...

Yeah he's out. Tela who came in the second half against England and France and is Drua's first five with Muntz as his back up will probably play first five against Wales.

The Pacific is made up of Melanesian, Polynesian and Micronesian. Think over centuries there's been inter islands marriages or shagging that's produced double or triple heritage bloodlines. Fiji especially have a mixtures of all three. You'll see Melanesians looking guys with the build of Polynesian...

Re: WALES Vs FIJI 2023 RWC Match Thread - Group C

Huge blow for Fiji. Lomani-Muntz combination really set that backline up. I feel bad for the young brother but Volavola showed in the Japan game the same form he did when Fiji beat France in 2018. I feel Volavola's kicking game is better than Muntz. I was gutted he wasn't named originally but glad ...

Irrespective of the World Rugby ranking. Wales are favourites in this based on the two sides recent history. Also Wales haven't really played their first XV so I'll be very surprised if they lose. It will be close but they'll win it.
