Ugliest World Cup XV
This is the only truly egalitarian contest of the year. Nominations must come with pictures. Should be some hot competition in the pack. Maybe we'll have a poll at the end. Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread
We need to get a lead, catch at least 70% of high balls, and tackle Allende. Do that and we'll win. Chasing any sort of deficit with Faf mashing everything miles in the air, England dropping it, the scrum taking four minutes, rinse and repeat would be a Kafka-esque nightmare. We won't beat up South ...

Re: All Blacks V England RWC Semi Final Match Thread.
Both video calls were 50/50 calls, I was disappointed at the time but it’s part of the game. They were both probably 51/49 - both fair enough decisions, but you feel gutted when two go against you in the same game. The first one seemed pretty clear - I never thought that would be given, as Sinckler...

As a half-Welshman (but England fan, so do tell me to fudge off), I have to say I'm pretty gutted about the result. There's no shame in losing in a WC semi, but even with all the injuries, a penalty the other way or Patchell nailing the drop and you're playing a side you've beaten twice already this...

One thing I would say on the maul try is that you can't help feel slightly hard done by when you see the Wales 8 fumble the ball slightly today at the base of the scrum for their try but there isn't a single replay of it. You could probably find a minuscule knock on every ten phases or so if you zoo...

For all that that was a shit game, it is concerning that the Daly will drop about 70% of the high balls - so about 45 kicks in the final. Coupled with the fact that their scrum (from the ensuing knock ons) is very good, I think the Saffas are more likely to beat us than anyone.

Not actually shitting it as much as last week.
The joy of winning would outweigh the pain of losing this week - whereas last week it was the other way round. It's actually exciting rather than thoroughly nauseating.

Not necessarily the best player, but the player who would most strengthen your side from the other three teams.
For England, Barrett I suppose - or any of the scrum-halves.

You have to take your hat off to New Zealand - this is comfortably the best English side for 15 years, and NZ are still rightly favourites.
