Re: Drugs in sport...this could get "interesting".

Last NYE I was at a party in Sydney and started talking to a bloke who had arrived with 2 minders ( a couple of other people had minders, there were a few prostitutes around and lots of drugs, strange kind of doo). Anyway, turns out he was quite a big dealer but he only had 7 "clients" all of them ...

Re: Israel Folau starts with a bang....

I think this has been a long time problem for the Tahs; in contrast to the other Soup teams, the Tahs have long been an appendidge of the old school tie Sydney Rugby scene. If you didn't fit into that, you didn't fit into the Tahs. Hopefully the culture of the team is changing, with all the Tongan ...

Re trials hard to judge particularly if the coach is setting a new game plan and/or constantly rotating. Brumbies flogged the Force in Darwin last year and only scrapped a win at home against them in the last 5 minutes. Force were missing a few key players in the trial. What's so impressive about t...

What's so impressive about this guy? He gives the Waratahs some press... He gives the whole game some press, actually. A lot of press. We'd probably receive more press if we won things... Sadly, we don't just have to win things, we have to win by scoring tries, lots of entertaining tries. We all go...

Banks/governments in bed together. Whatever national banks they had could be stood up to in a smaller country. Probably some Scandinavian determination for social justice thrown in which is lost in most of the west.
