Re: Bledisloe 2 - All Blacks v Wallabies @ Eden Park, 17 Au
Big game for the ABs after a nervous first 30. There is a lot to like about this current Wallabies but they did play against 14 for 40 last and reality was going to home tonight. AB loose trio was immense as was the much maligned Tuitulopu at No 4. SBW made a real difference in defence in the middle...

Good fair contest between 2 titans. Draw a fair result and probably the ideal physical hit out for both sides before Japan. ABs will be sweating on big Brodie though.

Moment of the match was BBs try saving tackle in the 66th minute. His kicking out of hand is an issue currently but the rest of his game is in fine shape.

Thought this was a good win. For the ABs. That Pumas team has been playing together since Feb. ABs thrown together with many not having played for over a month. Away from home in a cauldron. A triumph for team culture, coaching staff and support staff. Invaluable experience for the players. NZ depth...

Re: Ireland, Best team in the world
A wonderful win for Ireland and well deserved. Resilient and brave and controlled the game. Thought the ref had an excellent game. The ABs didn’t have the answers today. Plenty for them to work on over the next 10 months and that’s a good thing. To the Irish go bragging rights and the ABs now chasin...

Intriguing winner take all test coming. 1 vs 2 and bragging rights on the table. Mentally the ABs will be up for it. After the 2016 exhibition test in Chicago the ABs turned up in Ireland 2 weeks later and physically brutalised the Irish for 80 minutes. More of that please coach Hansen.

The decision of the TMO Marius Jonker during the final minutes of the test sparked outrage in the rugby community, especially fro...

Re: Official Thread: England vs All Blacks 10 Nov 2018 15:00
Rugby is a simple game and offside rules are too.
At a ruck stay behind the feet of your last player in the ruck. Lawes was in front of his last players feet ... so offiside and NO TRY. And it was a ruck because the ref said it was.
My question is was the ref allowed to involve the TMO here?

Great to see such a tight contest. Tough conditions and 16 unanswered points makes it a great escape for the ABs. Hard luck England but tremendous effort. AB coaching staff will asking some very hard questions but ultimately the ABs showed character to get out of that one.

Placed my bet at the TAB. Ref Jérôme Garces will fark over the ABs again. 10 tests with the ABs and he’s dishes out 7 yellow cards and 1 red to the most disciplined team in the world. He was involved in the farcical end to the 3rd Test vs the Lions. That penalty reversal should have been investigate...

Not sure if Japan are all they are cracked up to be after this test. Commentators crapping on about how competitive Japan are. But they were thumped by a 3rd/4th string team who played ok. Japan has home advantage and a ref who blew a homer. This Japan team looks weaker than their RWC 2015 side. I k...

A great no 8, one of the ABs finest.
I still think the back row trio of Whetton, Shelford and Jones was the ABs most dominant. Hard to compare eras but they never lost a test as a trio and were so much more athletic than any other nations trios the between 1987 and 1990

I heard on the radio that only 12% of attempted match winning snap drop goals are successful in test rugby history. In which case the ABs, with a 3 on 2 situation, made statistically the right call in going for the try. Arrogance had nothing to do with it.

Super effort from the Boks. This feels a bit like Chicago and we know what happened a week later.
I expect the ABs a will be hitting the tackle bags big time over the coming weeks. Pretoria could be brutal.... and I expect the Boks will be up for it as well.

Anderson is a fine pace bowler who averages about 12 with the Duke ball in England and about 40 anywhere else in the world. McGrath the greater bowler here. I’d rate Steyn the best pack bowler of the last 15 years and he’s the only one who has CPI stats anywhere near Sir Richard Hadlee who performed...
