It adds drama, but doesn't really suit our game.
Like the NFL, there needs to be a right of reply, to stop it being simply a competition to get a penalty or drop a goal.

I thought both Salami and Foketti were good tonight, which is a relief considering we are weak at 12 without Kerevi.b

I know there has been a 200kw wave generator up and running for a few years in King Island. It's looks like a large catamaran. Not sure how scalable it is.
There was one off Port Kembla that broke free of its moorings in big swell and got wrecked against the rocks.

Salami the only one with any go forward. Tate couldn't hit a barn door with his pass. HMP is a way away from winning.

Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)
That's true and I've considered it. But you may have noticed players become unavailable, like, all the fecking time! In any case I'd be OK with Gordon persisting at 10. His kicking out of hand needs certainly needs to improve but I give not fúck one about his goal kicking. Folk who think the No.10 ...

Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)
Most folk seem to think Gordon a v. good defender. He also, IMO, passes competently to left and right. And clearly he has a v. decent turn of pace. So why is no-one considering him as a prospect at 13? Because the only player in Australia who can be considered close to world class plays at 13, and ...

Not sure I have seen a fatty Bok recently... can you name one without a six pack (not of beer)? Kitshoff, Nche, Malherbe, Koch, Nyakane…. Quite a few. Pre-fatty Boks... or were they this side of the camera? https://www.stuff.co.nz/media/images/9Tzi8ywRz924XE3uHaD6DfGZQfjEdZd7oKlsiR53VLHvSZExpMzuRmK...

Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)
At this stage Speed Tool in and Marky Mark out. In his defence, nothing the Tahs are doing right now looks convincing and I am sure that many of them are well below there best. Is it worth looking at shifting Lenny Ikitau in a spot? He would make a great 12. Henry was shaping up nicely as a classic...

Given the tahs are down to their 3rd and 4th string loosehead, third and fourth string hooker, and third string tighthead, I reckon they're about to have a nightmare come scrum time. Are there really two ahead of Harry Garden-Gnome? Well no, but the bench THP is the third string. Creative accountin...

Anyone do some 'wide moat' investing? I've got a bit of BerkshireHathaway but worried the arse will fall out of it once Buffet kicks it. I think I'll pull the trigger on the VanEks Wide Moat ETF. Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)
Uru and Leota were the two I was thinking of. Although Uru is in a position where we have plenty of depth. But I think big blokes with islander heritage is a pretty safe bet across all 15 positions. That's a fun wallabies XV 1. Kailea 2. Uelese 3. Talakai/Tupou 4. LSL 5. Skelton 6. Uru 7. Gamble 8....

I did actually edit my "reserves" post to change Swain to Frost, Swain and Neville before reading your post. LSL is one of the big islander piggy reserves I had in mind, when I wrote that line as the 5th piggie reserve. :uhoh: Who are the other ‘big islanders’ that you’re considering? Uru and Leota...

Has Lomani had any form in the past with dirty grub like behaviour? None TBF - this is his first Red. I don't recall him receiving a yellow either. It was definitely deserving of red and stupid. Didn't their reserve halfback get yellow for slapping a prone waratah a few weeks back as well? Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)
Not my idea - but someone suggested to me the following could be a pretty tasty backrow (playing in the way the Brumz backrow do) 6. Valetini 7. Wright 8. Cale 8 is your wide channel runner, 6 narrow and 7 the ruck basher. Both Wright and Cale are very good lineout options. You could even allow for ...

I don't think Lomani intended to elbow him in the head. The connection was simply too good given how fast it happened and he wasn't really looking. It would actually be difficult to connect that well intentionally unless it was something you regularly practiced. I think he just flailed his arms dow...

Sluggy is going to blow up if he checks the rosters for the New York Jets, Manchester United or Chicago Bulls. Chicago was created by an artificial flick of the pen, another example of gerrymandering. All sports franchises in the US should be linked to the original 13 colonies, and so called Chicag...

Thats Australian rugbys problem. “They went well in a beaten pack/side”. Both Valetini and Cole are way ahead of Swinton at this stage. And there are others. Wright, Wilson etc etc I hate to disagree with you but far from being ‘Australian rugby’s problem’, it demonstrates that Australian rugby is ...
