Re: Fellow Jocks - Independence?

I have a feeling and always have done even when the polls showed the No vote winning by 10% that the Scots would vote "Yes", which will be to the medium and long term determent, of everyone, for a variety of reasons.

Re: Death Row Inmate going, going.....goooooooonnnnneeee!

Whilst not agreeing with the death penalty purely because of the chance of miscarriages of justice , and for those who have committed the crime and are to deat, I am not going think twice about. I do think if the state is putting someone to death then it has to be competent.

Re: 2015 world cup - Contenders

Yet Ireland and Wales have been more successfull in the NH in the last few years than England/France. Not in World Cups they haven't. France, after some much needed rest and serious conditioning in the run-up, are always a fearsome proposition at World Cup time. As Tonga found out to their p...

Re: 2015 world cup - Contenders

As is more or less always the case, top candidates are SANZAR, France and England. Ireland and Wales may upset things but little if any chance of winning it all. Of course we're forgetting that Scotland have declared they are making a concerted run at it... Wales are shorter odds than France to win...

2015 world cup - Contenders

England – Too early in team life cycle and reminiscent of the England of 99 world cup team and have a tough group, although playing at home may benefit. NZ – In a world cup away from home prediction is an “upset” when they go out - especially if they meet France. France – Currently at low point may ...

Re: Let's hope this isn't the next major air disaster

it can be of no surprise, but still how the plane even ended up in the southern ocean, 1000,s of miles in the wrong direction from it’s intended destination is going to take some explaining.
