Re: cool as a cucumber
Hard to hear but it sounds like he said "phone Robbie" and "phone Josh" so doesn't sound like ringing the police. I'd love to see an outside view to see what's going on. If it wasn't for the bulletproof window that first one would have killed the driver. That is what is so chilling. They were going...

Re: cool as a cucumber
I think maybe the driver might ask for a change of partner. Did he order a pepperoni or a margarita in the end? Was their first phone call was to their colleagues not the police? The driver was like Liam Neeson in taken, definitely ex military he was a f**king boss I’d say probably yes, those guys ...

I really don’t think that it’s any player’s right to challenge a ref’s officiating.
That job belongs to the supporters alone.

I think a fully fit and firing Leinster team wouldn’t have any problems. The injury and rusty returning from injury issues might be a problem.

https://www.rte.ie/sport/rugby/2021/0427/1212396-johnny-sexton-ruled-out-of-champions-cup-semi-final/ Just a few things going against Leinster at the moment. While the Munster match was a nothing game, I doubt even Leo thought we’d lose by that score. Not good for morale/momentum. If Frawley gets a ...

Re: Rugby NAMA thread Revisited Rugby
What's the problem with Aus? Have only been there as a tourist but it seemed alright I must say. Also it is just so far away you either have to contact home early morning/late at night. Very hard to get home quickly unlike for example the states. It takes at least a day. So, is there any down sides?

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Furlong could get away with going abroad and still get picked for Ireland. No, any thought of that needs to be knocked on the head now. Everyone knows the rules at this stage, if he goes he's off the Irish squad until he comes back, which he probably would for the RWC. I don’t think we’ve enough co...

Jesus that was the dumbest rugby I’ve seen Leinster play for a long time. They might all need to quarantine after that. The need to spend a Penny. The cop deserves a holiday followed by a promotion and a raise. Incredible marksmanship under the circumstances to neutralise the threat of danger without hitting anybody else particularly the woman in pink. Look how fast this shit actually goes down. Re: Ohio Police shoot dead 15 year old black female stabber.
Cops are trained to shoot for centre mass.
Aiming for the gun/knife in the hand happens in movies.
Movies aren’t real life. Neutralise the threat and chat about it afterwards.

i dont think he pulled him out of the car intending to kill him but that changed. Running away from the cops is never a good idea, particularly armed ones, particularly if you are also armed.
