Re: Iran sends 4,000 troops to Syria

Either way, it would seem the Yanks are better able to wash their hands of siding with al-Q if now the people they're backing has turned on them. http://www.dailystar.com.lb/News/Middle-East/2013/Jul-13/223545-obama-emphasizes-us-commitment-to-syrian-rebels-in-saudi-call.ashx?#axzz2Z0Kunt1a O'Bombe...

Re: Iran sends 4,000 troops to Syria

Given the Russian attitude to any "separatist" activity, either Muslim (Chechnya) or otherwise (Georgia/ homosexual rights) you can soon conclude that "democracy" as is portrayed as important by Western "democracies" ain't really much of a priority by Russian standards.

Re: Iran sends 4,000 troops to Syria

All FACTS. The ONLY country that benefits from prolonging this conflict indefinitely is Israel, and they will do whatever it takes to keep their enemies at each others throats, even if it means the deaths of one million Syrian citizens. Less than 10% of US citizens support arming the Syrian terrori...

Re: Cardinal O'Brien - Self loathing homosexual

We need to know what sort of "inappropriate acts" first. Slipping a whoopee cushion onto a priest's chair as he sits down in front of the congregation? Writing "wanker" on the back of his cassock? I refuse to condemn the man before I know if it was funny or not. Something to do with his "party tric...

Bod as appealing a thought as that is it won't win me a real ale brewing competition :D I thought it was a Home Brew comp - I guessed that might cover a whole gambit of options, from your ales to maybe some dangerous, cheeky little concoctions like Dandelion wine or Sloe Gin? Who gives a flying &*^%$? As long as France and Germany keep driving the veto they have no chance. 8) It doesn't matter who drives the veto. All states have to unanimously agree, regardless of whether its Germany or Greece. Austria will probably have more of an opinion than most. Austria.... A popu...

On the one hand, I don't want to be racist, accept that most Turks are just people trying to live their lives, and understand that there's no good reason to keep them out. On the other hand, I don't want to be swarmed with Muslims expecting special treatment . What kind of special treatment were yo...
