Re: The Reform Party UK

Brexit is estimated at costing around £2 billion a week, and that seems a lot to me. Supposing they accidentally doubled the calculations, and there are no serious studies observing anything like that, it'd still be a loss of £50 billion a year. I don't mind if anyone wants to claim the loss of £10...

For the record, I don't know a single person voting Tory and I would usually know loads. Same. Most Tories I know have basically gone silent since the Liz Truss debacle. The brand damage was so catastrophic (especially as the Tory go-to was that Labour would crash the economy) that it still hangs o...

It's not exactly difficult to follow, supposing you've seen the England Vs Ireland game. Watching the Furbank it's pretty apparent Frawley is doing some very odd things, either he's a very weird player, or it's a consequence of an earlier moment that does lead eventually to him being removed for a H...

Penalties are awarded at the scrum for a random act of cheating. In that there'll be any number of offences and the ref happens to pick one, sometimes they go back and forth to try and even things out, sometimes they really go for one team. Whatever it takes an inordinate amount of time and the supp...

Very clever of you to have it as the English player v a guy not nominated. You can pretend to be objective without being able to lose. :P I didn't realise JGP wasn't nominated. And I certainly wouldn't have gone for Aki over JGP. I also don't care about the award, it's a gimmick. Ireland have the o...

Earl was playing well in the first 3 games, even if very little attention was being given to England because their team performance was dire and only rose to acceptable in the last two games. Probably overall one gives the award to Earl or JGP, and then the question is do those early team performanc...

Re: Proposed Rugby Law Changes

I don't agree with the crooked LO being allowed. I do, if you don’t contest a lineout, you shouldn’t win it. The counter argument there is you have two defensive pods as the team not throwing in, you mark front and middle which forces a call to go long and then the throw isn't straight. And now you...

Pick 'em young and some get away with it, some don't. it's on a bell curve not a specific age the bones mature at, and yes you can get damage anyway but it's inherently riskier with softer bones. and I would hope the game is improving, not repeating what have often proved mistakes. we know better, o...

It's not a strength thing, it's a bone hardening thing. Exposure to the heavy weights and more time in scrums should be phased in after skeletal maturity. . Jarrod's defence is sh1te, Costelow's is good. Tis why one is out of, and the other in the Welsh squad. His reading what's his man and communication along the line and work in contact might be okay, it's looked wobbly but that could easily be problems inside and outside him. His depth coverage re...
