Re: World Rugby Awards are tonight....

Ben Ryan should have won Coach of the Year for taking a team of no-names, with no money, no facilities and no strategy or game plan in a country full of rugby politics/nonsense/idiocy/etc to another series title and the first ever medal for Fiji. Arguably it may have beeen harder to achieve success ...

Re: OFFICIAL AIs: England vs Fiji, Sat 19th November 2016

Hope Fiji can be a fairly cohesive unit for this, I'm heading down to HQ. I wouldn't expect mass changes in the England side, doesn't seem like Eddie's way and there's plenty to put right from yesterday. We're going to get murdered. This. Having 4 days together as a full squad before a test is real...

It's a blatant lie that spectators were leaving in droves at the first Bled. But go ahead and bullshit like you usually do. It's hard for some of you guys to stay classy even after a good win, a record* breaking run and an awesome team. But carry on and act like dicks. Because you were all so humbl...

Re: That Obstruction call in the Bledisloe...

It's not 1m directly behind him, ffs. And given the disparity in pace, DHP's best bet is straight up fat man's alley to best keep up with Speight - if he'd run a line 2m on Speight's inside he's in a perfect position for an offload, doesn't interfere with a defender and would have been more up with...

After everyone recognised it as a bullshit call last night, the inevitable turning of black into white commences. The re-writing of history has started. We will keep going with this until it's clear that DHP should have been red-carded for touching Savea. It's all very unedifying. DHP was always go...

Well done ABs and fans. I thought the game could have been a little more interesting without -that- decision but what's done is done. It clearly was. That law is to be read in the broadest possible sense and it's clearly not impossible for Savea to have been able to attempt a tackle (ankle tap) on Speight without the interference. Unlikely, but not impossible. If exactly the same thing had happened 2m further back, would it have ...

Re: Too much of a celebrity ref

If this is about blocking the tackler getting to the player with the ball, why do the refs not pull up kick offs more often for penalties?

Time and time again, defending players run off their line to the catching player and block off the tacklers coming through.

Dislike Cheika as much as you want but I think a positive is the passion for the jersey that he brings to the game. I saw this when he was at the Tahs and he is now trying to bring that to the Wallabies. There was a period when the Tahs played like soft cocks before he took over. If this spills over...

I've seen Nige reffing many games over the years and he usually referees the game with common sense. I've also seen him overrule the TMO on occasion when they've attempted to make a judgement on potential foul play and questioning a try. However, I think in this instance when he looks back on the S...

The ref was very unhappy with Moore asking for cards for an all black very earlier on. Moore needs to pick and choose his interactions better. In relation to the game, the ABs are so far ahead of the pack. They have this aura around them that it seems even the refs believe that they are untouchable.
