Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Murray is getting abuse on here tonight, but it's not like there's a better back-up 9 available right now. Casey couldn’t have kicked any worse than Murray did. We would’ve been better off hiding Murray out on the wing and leaving JGP at 9. Other countries would have used this 6N to get Casey up to...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Pace is fixed with Hansen and Ringrose coming back, even JOB. It's not fixed though. Those guys are quick, certainly quicker than those out there today, but none of them are a flyer. It would remain an issue against sides who have genuine pace. It would help us be better balanced for sure, but pace...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

I'm reluctant to throw stones at any of our backrow, given how poor our front five were. Not one of them played to their potential. Not one of the eight. When that happens, we lack the pace elsewhere to compensate. England are no great shakes or they would've been out of sight lads, that's the trut...

Frawley’s probably still in the picture for 10 cover, but we can’t rely on him to be the back 3 cover, especially if it means Murray at 9.

What’s the point of the 6-2 if you’re not using the 6 early? Conan and Kelleher and Henderson on now anyway.
