Re: Spark Sport RWC coverage (NZ only)
The competitor hasn't bid yet. No chance NZR is taking Sky's upfront offer without using Spark to jack up the price. Negotiations were put on hold until the completion of RWC. You think Steve Tew/Mark Robinson is negotiating the biggest piece of business to impact the game while they are wining and ...

On a wider point, I don't see how you could restrict it to Tier 1 players changing allegiance to Tier 2/3 nations because the overall sentiment seems to be that some Tier 2 nations would become Tier 1 with the help of better players.

I believe the back story to Lousi and Vuna’s complaints is that ought to be a Tongan home game - in fact Tonga haven’t played at home in yonks - as World Rugby doesn’t deem their home ground suitable, yet the Samoan ground was given the tick of approval.

Funny thing the Japanese Top League. Never seen any of it on TV. All these players who have gone there to top up their pension pot could've been picking fruit for all i know. Ofa T is strongly rumoured to be joining his bro at the Crusaders.
As is Jordie B, who’s got designs on playing 12 full time.
I’d be checking on Dillon Hunt’s contract status at the Landers. Played second fiddle to Lentjies all season.

I don't think you're going to see any worse scorelines by including Japan, Samoa, USA/Cananda in there. And you'd probably need one other from Europe. And given the new editions will be spread over four groups of four then the minnows are going up against just one powerhouse, as opposed to currently...

Technically it wasn't last gasp... New Zealand missed an even later gasp penalty which could've won it. They truly are the worst side we've sent to the Under 20 World Champs.
