Re: Women's 6 Nations 2024 thread

Interesting. How will the team play without packer?

I'll dare say it, is Packer being phased out to the new gen playing a faster game?

Connie Powell can feel very very hard done by that she's not starting. She's actually one of the players who's really kicked on under Mitchell.

Feyi Waboso looked handy didn't he  There seems to be so much hype around this guy He's good but I'm not sure he's that good? Re: Leinster vs Leicester Tigers

Don't feel like Leinster are the best coached side currently. Still world class, all over the pitch, but, Leicester were a couple of key knock ons and OHC madness away from being drawing at 36-36 (or some score which was a draw). Leicester are no great shakes, and seeing Leinster go back in the scru...

The only players that emerged with any credit from that turgid affair were the two Arsenal CBs and Rice Doku was absolutely shocking at times today, how he gets a game in a Pep side having such a poor first touch and an inability to cross is beyond me Haaland was absolutely bollocks. They were unbelievably bad.

They are poorly poorly coached. A bit of luck, a smidgeon the ball is connected differently in finishing situations and brentford must hit 5 or 6 easily. So unlucky not to win.

Lots to like from the Wales game. Commentary and reffing left a whole lot to be desired. The amount of times the wales scrum had Callender detaching and already going after our 9 and not getting pinged was f**king silly. Kildunne, Galligan and the whole team in general played very well. I agree in the 1st World Cup, the squad wasn't great but it's been decent in the last 2 tournaments. Sarah Beckett will miss 3 6 nations matches. Next available for the france game. Have to say that's stupidly light and I hate mitigation.

Especially when Sillari has a broken leg and will miss potentially the rest of the season minimum, maybe rest of the year and is one of Italy's best players.

Pretty pleased with the second half. Far too many handling errors but quietly the more we play this way and play at pace, this would have been a proper hammering.

Players being picked who havent played in 2 years was also a problem.
