Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

We're getting to that time of year where one or more Leinster back row player starts getting linked to other clubs.

It's Will Connors turn this year.

I didn't watch the match, so pinch of salt required, but I've said before that I wonder what McFarland says to the lads at half time, because we fall apart or get noticeably worse so often in the second half of games. Is he changing the tactics or telling the lads to try hold what we've got? Whateve...

I think Andy Warwick was sent off for Ulster against Leinster for doing the same thing Lowe did.

But, it makes no difference to me really, I hope the Ulster players are absolutely mortified.

Moore and Deegan did their outside chances of a world cup spot no harm, other than that I don't think anyone in the pack comes out in credit (maybe Loughman tbf) Moore scored a nice try but did you see him for their last try? Mike Ross, at his current age and fitness level, would have moved faster....

Just back. First opinion, NELM especially in the pack who were soft as shite. The likes of Timoney and Loughman, who never even got into the Leinster Academy shouldn't be played at this level, and indeed the same holds true for Prendergast. 9/10 games the atmosphere is garbage. Loads of people who haven’t a notion, but probably not helped by the results being very one sided.

Zebo has enjoyed his summer anyway. Looks like a forward that has got lost out on the wing. He looks the same as he did last year. Stop exaggerating ffs. Looks fatter and slower to me. Dragons winger showed great stamina at the end, running the whole way around Zebo without running out of puff.
