What about Brooky after the great success of the Blues game there as well as now the states second biggest stadium, McDonald Jones in Broadmeadow? The reason that he quit top level rep rugby for contract rugby was that he has two siblings with Cystic Fibrosis and his father (who raised 8 kids by himself) was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Ron "Won" Casey has died at RNS. I saw him in the waiting room of the Mosman Medical Centre probably early last year and was in an appalling state so probably a good thing for him:

Im not adverse to him playing the Pumas or Bokkes but forget his nemesis side, the ABs as he has only played well against them once in Honkers many moons ago. I watched him play for City tod...

typical 2018 Wobs performance with a dodgy lineout, unforced errors along with poor goalkicking and stoic Bokke defence meant we went down. Things could have been very different if it wasn't for KB's asinine pass on his own line and the goals going through.

Im thinking a record low crowd for the RC, perhaps 6-8K. Townsville, Newcastle, Adelaide, Canberra, Perth, Wollongong, Hobart even Penrith Park would have been better venues.

What did that AB player call him again, Muppet? Seriously there's something wrong with RSA rugby that they aren't better given their playing numbers which are actually higher than the total of Rugby League players worldwide. A lot of it comes down to their coaching and systems there surely.

There's potential for a new record low crowd for the TRC with the Pumas vs Wobs next Saturday on the Gold Coast. The game should have been played elsewhere like Townsville, Adelaide, Newcastle, Wollongong, Canberra, Perth, Penrith etc etc.

Would be nice to see Alonso at RB to make things more interesting but im sure they will continue their in-house policy and promote within and get Gasly or Sainz. Other options that RB should look at is the off-contract Scott Dixon whose career has been largely wasted in the second rate IndyCar series.
