Re: Favorite beers - Official thread

Saw this at the bottle shop and was really tempted. Next time. For this ambitious liquid time capsule, we used ingredients and traditions plucked from Egyptian hieroglyphics. Ta Henket is brewed with an ancient form of wheat and loaves of hearth-baked bread, and it's flavored with chamomile, doum-pa...

Wonder where they came up with this idea in 1996? No denying impact of 7-on-7 "If they don't have a way to throw and catch, kids are going to find other activities in the summer." Olin considered this question in 1996 as head coach at Baytown Lee High School. He gathered a group of coaches at...

Apparently they beat OSU and Penn State in the same season way back when. As long as the program is competitive, I'm sure they won't have a tough time grabbing fixtures against bigger names.

Ha! They just started DII football a few years ago. Lots of kids from St Eds HS, one of the first varsity programs in the midwest (and also a very good football school), will end up there.

Isles, Carlin 5'8" 160 Gentlemen of Aspen
He was the fastest high school football player in Ohio a couple of years ago. He runs about a 4.2 40 / 10.4 100. Obviously the build is slight for football, he ended up running track at a small school.

Oh and I'll add that men's fuckin softball (a serious sport in New Zealand evidently) is on ESPN2 at the top of the hour, US vs Canada. I think US vs Canada anything would get a good audience on the 4th, apparently USAR aren't capable of negotiating something like this.

I've been a fan of Kelly's for a while, he was sort of a cult figure in NYC high school football a few years back, played rugby under Tolkin at Xavier. Not the biggest but runs very hard. Will be interesting to see if he can bring that style to what's undoubtedly a much more physical level of play.

They have their own fanbase for the most part, correct? Racing's crowds were pretty paltry in Pro D2 then climbed sharply when they were promoted, what do you think we can expect of a professional Massy? Their academy is pretty strong, will they also spend money to bolster their side and stay up?

I guess LaValla-Stanfill would be the conservative option, but with our FR the way it is we need some ballast behind them in addition to someone who's a main lineout target. Would prefer Doyle or Dolan alongside Lavalla.
