Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)
I almost wonder if you could put Gordon in at 12. I don't like him at 10 unless we have someone else kicking sticks. He's a good ball runner, a solid defender and could open up the outside backs more than they have been. It's not the worst idea... from memory, that's where he played against Argenti...

Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)
Same size as Brad Thorn. :) He’s a 6 but playing lock because there are no locks in NSW it seems. About the same size as Woki and Itoje. Height is only important to a point. He's a very different player to those two. Woki and Itoji are both explosive players with good wingspan. Thorn is a better co...

Obviously without that blatant, c#ntish manipulation of the 2021 championship by the subject of this thread, you would have typed "the great Lewis Hamilton"...so yes, I care Hamilton is a good driver that was in a brilliant car. Russell is outdriving him at the moment. Based on one race? That is th...

Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)
Looks about right. Mongo just got into Cully's team of the week though, so -1 for him. Towny was right. Mongo is f**king great, other than the fact he can't scrum for shit yet. Folk can learn how to scrum. Learning how to be big and strong is harder if one lacks the physical wherewithal. Yep, he's ...

Terrible initiative binned off by the competitions that have the biggest viewership and income. Binned off by the competitions that serve the most prawn sandwiches. So you're trying to say the NH doesn't get bigger crowds, have more money, higher TV viewership just that we've got more posh bl...

Absolutely terrible initiative and rightly binned off everywhere else. Brilliant initiative, binned off by morons. Terrible initiative binned off by the competitions that have the biggest viewership and income. Binned off by the competitions that serve the most prawn sandwiches.

Re: Is there a pushback against the safety initiatives in Rugby
I think that Rugby is "throwing out the baby with the bathwater". The current laws are just another reason why I don't go (unless beer/cabal is involved). Why pay good money for a game that may be ruined by a decision regarding an accidental collision after 1 minute? By all means punish the player ...

Press has given up on this event. RA have to have some blame here. I was there and I reckon 6-8k Not sure they will better that today unless the local Pacific community really turn up. Well official figures are in, 10,582 for Friday night, 11,231 on Saturday night. RA would have to be pretty happy ...

Re: Crusaders vs Waratahs Match Thread
My old crusaders top (circa 2001) finally disintegrated after last season and I had to throw it out. I got a short sleeve polo from the final season with the old logo and will wear that. I can't bring myself to buy another top with the new logo because it's awful. It's two dicks gentle touching tips

Also… the Jaguares? fudge me… cutting a team and replacing it with one on the other side of the world - did these idiots learn nothing and yet wonder why this comp is dying? Yeah it's stupid. Re: OFFICIAL SR'24 Cpt Hurricane Canes vs Reds Thread, Sun 3 March (SUPER ROUND)
Reds have a sniff but our creaky front row is a big Achilles heel. Other ex AB prop Jeff Toomnga Allen is should slot in to one of the THP slots this week, might help. That’s great news. I had thought he was to be out for a while. He apparently did a half with the Reds development team before the t...

You lot are really struggling with nuance, aren't you? The RWC wankfest about Portugal was absolutely ridiculous. They played some nice rugby in periods, and looked utterly inept at other times. Re: What Do You Think Is The Reason First Marriages Have A Lower Divorce Rate Than Second/Third etc.?
Women initiate the majority of divorces. A good traditional woman will get married and stick to her wedding vows. A modern leftist woman will likely get "bored" of the man especially if he's a nice guy who let's her get away with behaving badly. She'll then move on to another man, wanting a nice tr...

Re: Melbourne Rebels goooooooone… soon to be Rebels Pasifika?
How the fudge can the NRL have so much money and RA be so poor? Pokies. An a comparatively massive TV deal. The NRL had revenue of $700 million last year and gave $363 million to clubs. That $363 amount is very nearly the same as the entire revenue of the ARU and NZRU combined. None of that has any...
