Re: Best Sci-Fi Novels

Use of Weapons is one of his best IMO. Really well crafted story as the protagonist's pastis slowly revealed over the course of his latest mission. The story in itself is decent enough (highly evolved civilisations meddling with the development of other, more primitive ones), but the way the charact...

Re: The OFFICIAL Pro12 Thread

The current Irish trio are the best we have no doubt. Its probably a slight modification on our tactics that would help them show their true power on the international stage. This is the crux. We don't have a certain type of player, so we can't use the kind of gameplan that would suit them. What we...

Re: The OFFICIAL Pro12 Thread

Until a true natural born 7 comes through the ranks and starts pilfering ball at will or turning speculative counter attacks into 80 metre, no breakdown tries by his very presence, I'll be more than happy to have a good 6.5 smashing everything that moves. Oh absolutely. But for me there's no need t...

Dippy is no more a 7 than SOB is. People are just pinning their hopes on any young backrower. Himself and POM wouldn't be wasted at 7. I think the issue with SOB is that he is somewhat wasted there. But I suppose the same could be said of Wallace. Who eventually became a decent modern day 7 if not ...

Probably a stupid question, but is there a difference between shoulder press and military press? If I had to guess I'd say the military press is with a barbell, and you push it starting from your chest. The shoulder press I tend to associate with DBs, with the starting position being the DBs resting...

There were a few nice looking birds knocking about in blue dresses for last year's ladies' night. They looked f**king freezing though.
Thin dresses and bare legs when everyone else is wearing two hoodies and a jacket with hat and scarf doesn't look fun.

Golf ball should work, if a bit hard. Hard medicine balls work for the calves, use it as you would a foam roller but it digs into a smaller area.

Cleans are a very technical movement and can present a challenge to someone who's never done them before. They are an excellent exercise though so keep at them.
