Re: Black Caps in Pakistan

Big Nipper, even if you believe there is no threat, you still haven’t explained why you think the Blackcaps would travel to Pakistan if their intention was always to pull out. That is the aspect of your comments that appear to be trolling … and you haven’t offered any answer to support it. My view ...

Re: Is Dave Rennie the worst international rugby coach in history?

Should have been the AB coach but maybe a bit too brown for the AB hierarchy after what the ex Crusader players said about the brown players.

Re: Black Caps in Pakistan

Details are starting to emerge of the climate of the tour: a death threat (pre-tour) and bomb threats (after calling it off). Details of the specific threat that led to the cancellation won’t be shared but tou can’t blame them for pulling the pin. https://i.stuff.co.nz/sport/cricket/black-caps/1264...

Re: Black Caps in Pakistan

I love the logic of "Oh look, it was all fine when they headed to the airport, so there can't have been a threat!" Umm, what? That makes zero sense. The world trade centre was totally fine until it had a plane fly into it too. The point was that the was pretty much the same route. Surely, the attac...

I'm a big cricket fan, but it's just not safe for any touring team to tour there. You only need to reflect back to the attack that happened to the Sri Lankan team. I feel for the Pakistani players who just want the opportunity to play at home, but damn, lives are more important. Would need to doubl...

They need to start playing, they are boring to watch and now the results are going pear shaped they start to look for excuses. You can't play this rubbish forever, it seems to work when others are just scared as you like in WCs.

The Boks have the talent to dominate rugby but lack ambition and trust. So we see the dreary rubbish with the one rolling maul after another, and the wings getting less action than a Nun in a monastery.

Re: The Ardie Savea conundrum - where does he fit in a full strength All Black's backrow, if at all?

The best backrows have a balance between power, skill, height and a bit Mongrel. For the Abs they need Akira at 8, Cane at 7 and then someone like Barrett at 6, but not Barrett, who isn't quick enough at 6. Like Tom Robinson. Admittedly this is based on hope that he delivers on his potential, but a...

I said way before the WC in 2018 the Akira had to play and be allowed to develop and had they done so, the England dominance of their Pack would have been much more difficult. And although Rieko was out of form before the WC, he was still better than the terrible Bridge

I am not sure why these things are a surprise. The reason most men want to be famous is to have lots of money and shag as many women as possible. I am never sure as to why they need to rape as they have women throwing themselves at them. Even an ugly bastard like Weinstein had a beautiful wife.

The only lesson I see in all this mess is that war is shit. But if you really have to resort to war to settle down things, you have to commit in full war mode if you want to succeed. Erase everything- as it was done with Germany, Japan and Italy. Otherwise it is always a lost war in the long period...
