Re: Wallabies v France July Tests

Well done France, deserved the win. Their pressure at the breakdown to force turnovers or penalties really hurt us. By comparison, I don't really remember us getting too many breakdown turnovers. We really need to improve in this area, both in terms of protecting our own ball and also putting press...

Re: Wallabies v France July Tests

There are 4 days before the next test, Mog. Players need a rest. To'omua cost us heaps with his passing. Just shit. And that misread in defence which resulted in a French try. He played better than last week but was still shit. Lolesio played better but still isn't the playmaker the Wallabies need. ...

Man, it's frustrating to be a Wallaby fan. Moments of brilliance and then just pure shit. Anyway, changes I'd like to see for Saturday. Wright, To'omua and Lolesio dropped. JOC in at 10, Paisami at 12 and Big F uc ken Lenny at 13. Daugunu onto the wing and I wouldn't be adverse to seeing MK get a re...

Re: Wallabies v France July Tests

The French tries were lucky? Is that the angle we are using? I’m onboard, but I need to ensure we’re all onboard before I start pushing bullshit theories. The French didn’t play great but at key times they showed tonnes of potential and opened us up. Both teams were rusty, but I saw enough from Fra...

Started with a last gasp win over the French in the rugby. Ash Barty went on to win Wimbledon. Now the Boomers have flogged USA in basketball. Nice. Another victory tonight would be icing on the cake. I would struggle to remain humble. I bet you'll give all that up just to put two hands on the Bled...

I hope there's more cohesion tonight. I wasn't too fussed about last week's game. The Wobs got the win and it was the first match of the international season. +2 Although if we win, I'd like to see a few changes for game 3. A Tate start, Paisami and Ikitau centre combo. Maybe Hosea off the bench. Wouldn't mind seeing Muirhead in 23. A wild one might be Wright at fullback - maybe too wild for a test. If the Wallabies win tomorrow night, I reckon all bets ...

I'm concerned there will desperate people trying to cross the Tasman illegally. How? By boat? Can you just drive across the NSW border to a state where quarantine free travel to NZ still operates? Victoria has closed it's border. QLD has checkpoints but will probably close it today or tomorrow.

Great try. There's a moment there where he thought he'd get tackled and was looking around for options, but the tackles never came, and the goal line kept getting closer and closer. Re: 10 Years Ago Today - QLD Reds Win the Whole Damn Thing

I always thought Anthony Fainga'a was underrated. Sort of a foil for Quade's flair. Hard running and sure tackler. Quade never really worked well with a second playmaker. Both centres outside him were defensive monsters who could pass adequately. That allowed him to play his whole hand. The match a...

And yet today Australian teams won't even play against NZ teams, because apparently Kiwis are too good at Rugby and Australian fans won't watch games that their teams might lose. Title is correct. 10 years ago today the Reds beat the Crusaders at Suncorp stadium to clinch the trophy.
