Re: 2012 Official Golf Thread
Anyone watching the matchplay? 2 jocks going head to head today for a place in the quarters, Martin Laird against Paul Lawrie (gawn Paul spank the weegie bastard!!!) Clearly they are worried at the Scottish dominance in the event so have had to pair them together to give the rest of the field a cha...

Re: 2012 Official Golf Thread
Lawrie is playing great and I would fancy him for this tournament if it wasn't for the fact that the course is 7800 yards long!!!! Went out for my first round of golf of the year last Friday. Stripped a beauty 300 yards down the middle and then promptly collapsed with a badly torn muscle in my lower...

Re: post a picture of yourself thread
Can you post pictures from your own PC yet? Not as far as I know, OS. Need to load it to a hosting site, like imgur or imageshack and post the link. I must say, I wish we had the direct option. It saves time. And here.   Why does Globus answer the question posed to Tah - it was very...

I think fewer French are travelling which put more tickets back in the public sale. I remember the days when.... I take it the SRU will open the lower west soon for the HEC game. There's you assuming the SRU have a clue. I hear they are not opening the west stand because of the standing nonsense. I...

Saw 'The Guard' last night. Great effort from Brendan Gleeson but the ending is weak.

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread
I dont honestly know what some of you expect from Gray, he has been immense in the first 2 games and finally lived up to the hype. Him and Denton are the stand outs. You are nit picking over anything else, look at his form over the full 80 mins in both games. Honestly we have one poster talking abo...

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread
I thought Blair was far more effective than Cusiter. His passing is faster and more accurate and he is beginning to snipe again, which is something he lost when his form went. NDL is an enigma. His form for Edinburgh is good and he seems to have all the tools but just does not seem able to cope with...

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread
Scott isn't in the squad and I doubt he'll be called in. Who in his place? It is not without precedent for Scott to be called up. After the A game result there is every reason, but I suppose we'd go with S Lamont at IC otherwise and Evans would keep his place. I wouldn't play Morrison that is for s...

Paul Lawrie wins Qatar International. One million euros in last 4 tournaments. Fourth in Ryder Cup list and up to 45th in WR with entry to all the WGC events. Looks like one of the true gents of the European Tour is on the way back.

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread
Parks had possibly the most awful and ineffective game I think I have seen him have. His kicking was aimless and his passing was so predictable even the Engalnd centres were getting f**king bored with the lack of variety. Other than him it was hard to say anyone played badly, although Cusitor wasn't...

His record is appalling and something needs to be done. Parks selection was a joke but the first casualty of this should be Townsend.Moustache Attack wrote:What an absolute disgrace. To lose to that England team is an embarassment. Robinson has to go now.

This is all they had left in the fancy dress shop, for a new years eve fancy dress pub crawl. It was about 12-13 years ago, I got some lovely looks walking around Twickenham like this. Especially after I lost all my other mates that were also in fancy dress. Weirdest part was popping to a mates gir...

Standard practice and much better than no ticket sales on day. They want to have as accurate an idea of numbers as possible to staff correctly, they want people to commit to going instead of waiting till the day and bad weather putting them off and those who do show up on the day are a captive mark...

Just to change the topic for a second, I see the SRU have raised the price for the HC QF to £30 if you roll up on the day. £15 tickets are only available up until the end of February. Just as they have an opportunity they fudge it up again!!

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread
Based on what I've seen of the expected England team there isn't a player from 1-9 of theirs that I would pick ahead of ours, their 10 is every bit as flaky as Parks, Centre combination works at Club level but untested internationally, back three is potentially superb but 2 of the 3 are not in top ...

:? Why am I not surprised. The optomist tells me that Parks will have his last 50 minutes as a Scotland starter to steady the ship and then Laidlaw will continue from there. Other than that quite happy with the team. No I bloody well didn't. You're not pinning that on me If I was looking to pin it ...
