Shhh Sprig, let them have their whinge, he's taller than Scott Barrett to, but it's all good, he's generally been ok for the Canes. Especially as we don't have any big good locks.

Keep an eye on Meihana Grindlay at Blues too. Though he will obviouly be behind Reiko at 13, he may just make a few notice him if/ when he get's a few runs.

They would still have to pay wouldn't they? Fans or Rebs? I'm assuming you mean the latter and I'm also assuming the answer to your question is yes. Actually meant the team, if they played on No2 field or whatever, would still need to pay for use. It was in answer to suggesting they play game there...

NZ rugby would lose a big chunk of fans. Lots of paying boomers would be lost as fans. The effect on junior amd grass roots rugby wouldn't be as much. Why are we seeing the move away from home & away in the RC? Both Argie games in NZ, both Saffer games in SA. Let's agree to disagree. As we've already said what will happen is most of the talent will go overseas so in the end it won't improve thy depth of other teams. Also the development of Melbourne rugby players will stop. In the long term it will be bad for Australian rugby and Super rugby in general....
