On a side note (sic) I've been listening to Robert Johnson - King Of The Delta Blues Singers. So much of modern music is in that album.

A largely unheralded and brilliant album. Springsteen reminds us of that quality every half dozen albums or so, without ever quite getting there. Well, maybe Nebraska.dogtanian wrote:Bruce Springsteen – The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle

In some ways I think it's easier for a wealthy society to be scared into this line of thinking. They have more to lose afterall. The US is another example, although they seem to have more checks and balances to stop these laws passing. The Patriot Act calls your bet. But this is atrocious legislati...

It's a particularly silly article. The prediction is for winters to continue to become milder despite the drop in solar activity, which is made perfectly clear in one part of the article, and in another part of the article the journalist talks about the coldest winters for 300 years, which is nonsen...

They did it to save themselves, since they evolved from us. Of course that seems paradoxical to us, but is presumably how they roll in the fifth dimension. Well, that's obvious, but if they were already there in the 5th then why.....you know what, never mind. It all gets a bit woolly at that point....
