Re: Wallabies 23 for France Tests

I'd be giving Skelton a cap or three. He went well against the Lions till he blew up. He looks fitter now. His ball handling is good for such a huge bully. Give him a taste, get him hungry for more.

First live band I saw - 1976 at Miami High School's hall on the Gold Coast. I was the ripe old age of 14. My 15 year old girl friend got me a ticket. Her and her mate got there really early so we were in the front row. 8) It was f**king awesome. I can vividly remember Angus on Bon's shoulders going ...

Re: A list of things needed for boat fishing

10% of the fishermen catch 90% of the fish. Those 10% of fishermen employ fishfinder/gps combo units and know how to use them properly. Big fish eat little fish. Little fish live around structure (reef, wrecks, rocks, ledges etc) on the bottom. Unless you are fishing in shallow water you'll need a g...

Re: Lions vs Reds @ Ellis Park Match Thread

Don't see what the controversy is here. If you put the game in the hands of an old-school bent Saffa ref, there's only ever going to be one outcome. Qld should have taken the officials out of the equation when they had the chance. Well done Lions. Good to see an maligned team turn things around. +1...

My wife won't let me get it done as she doesn't want to risk messing up the taste.

Re: Terrible names

I had a geography teacher called Graham Wayne Kerr. A really camp bloke who had to leave our school after a couple of kids went surfing and saw him having sex in the sand dunes with a bunch of other blokes. I reckon he taught at my school on the Gold Coast- late 70's early 80's. Tallish, short dark...

Re: The worst hangover you have had the misfortune to suffer

Not strictly a hangover but wtf. Trainee surveys the scene: “We better get the stomach pump.” Veteran: “Yeah we don't want the fucker spewing all over the ambulance.” They jam the stomach pump down my throat and proceed to pump out brown liquid mixed with food lumps. Slowly the ejecting liquid star...

Re: The worst hangover you have had the misfortune to suffer

Definitely the worst in recent memory was the day after Wallabies v Ireland RWC 2011. On game day we caught the 9 am plane from Brisbane across the ditch. Had half a dozen of those 50ml bottles of gin with tonic on the plane over. Rums at the apartment. Beers on the pub crawl to the game. More beers...

Re: The worst smell your arse can make?

Many moons ago a load of us were staying at a friend's family's holiday house on Moreton Island just after our schoolies week. Her father had a 5 gallon keg that he used to refill every year with a couple of kilos of prunes and top up with Bundaberg OP Rum . The concoction was then left to "mellow" ...

I was recently informed that the difference between jam and marmelade is that you can't marmelade your cock into your girfriend's arse.
