Slade still stinking the place up. Like the look of the back row. No idea what Oghre and Langdon have got to do to get aa place on the bench ahead of Dan who had a poor end to the season. RIP Brian. Good Vibrations was the 1st single I ever bought - loads of great memories attached to that and other BB songs. Alright - I’ll buy all of that. Nothing about Faz has caused me to doubt him up to this point, and - as well as being able to play some decent rugby - I reckon that touring group will have a good bit of the craic, too. Big personalities need to come out and bring everyone together, before the test ...

Who would be your 9-15 ?
Gibbo, Russell, VdM, Tuipulotu, Jones, Freeman, Blairhorn.

Wouldn't be unhappy with Ringrose at 13.
From the 6n - that's what I'd like to see - Wouldn't be surprised if Keenan starts at 15 though.

If Russell is the starting 10, as many expect to be the case, I'd have VdM in the test XV. The way those lads linked to find space against England was outrageous. He's a big bloke who can run. So's Freeman, who can also play fullback or in the centre. They'd be my starting wings, with King Blairhor...

I'm really not sure what point you're failing to make here. Leinster players have been systematically rested all season, making use of a squad with 30+ internationals. Saints rested a bunch of their first-choice players in one match against the side that ever club rests their first choice players f...

Ah, you want to deal in hypotheticals. I see. Yet they did, as most teams have done this season (e.g. Bath rested Russell and gave a Premiership debut to Donoghue), and still won. Most of what is discussed here is hypothetical. Yes they would have rested some players but do you think they'd have ri...

The double exclamation mark really makes that post pop. My points are simple, if you're able to follow: 1. Northampton clearly still have some pride, hence continually fielding strong XVs in the league 2. Northampton are still technically in contention for the playoffs, even if it requires a mad ch...

Re: 2024/2025 Champions Cup

Yeah, that's just not true. The semi-final backs have racked up a lot of minutes this season, because of injuries to Furbank, Hendy, Sleightholme, Odendaal. Their backup to Fin Smith is an NRL convert who was signed from Edinburgh's bench. Saints squad is VERY light outside the first-choice forward...

I think he's just denying that they were resting players. And the stats appear to justify that statement. As I said previously - it is more about having a greater choice to decide between resting and match sharpness. I think we can agree that Leinster got it all wrong, and saints got it right. Whet...

Lion's squads are traditionally selected on reputation and a body of work over a long period of time, rather than who played best in the last handful of games. To that end I expect the Irish to have the largest contingent of players in the squad and the starting XV for the 1st test - and a guy like ...

Think a few stalwarts got found out a bit today. Don’t think England have the backrow right, there’s a distinct lack of fetchers. Weirdly, lack of pace in the backline.
