Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Stockdale was clearly a massive liability in that game, but he's probably the FB with the highest ceiling of ability. I'd probably stick with him for now. I'm not a huge fan of Larmour, however, who I suspect others would want in that spot. The highest ceiling of ability. Have you the Corona? We do...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
The hard part of performances like that is where do you turn to get improvements? I think we all fear that the reaction will be “If we had held our lineout in that second half it would have given us the territory to go and win that game” which will then translate into tighter and tighter style of p...

You can thank Italy but that's a wooden spoon if 5 Nations A part of me hopes we lose all our remaining matches this year. Won’t get better until we rid ourselves of these frauds. I just wonder will Shaun Edwards be back in a few months. What odds would you get on that? He's too smart to take that ...

Re: Wallabies 2020 thread
NZ did basically nothing and were 26-0 up, purely from Australian errors. Sounds simple because it's untrue. NZ maintained control with ball and without. It ain't "nothing". Sure, they capitalised on a multitude of woe-inducing Wallaby errors - especially first half. They also made plenty of errors...

Re: Wallabies 2020 thread
That first 40 was the worst I've ever seen Australia play. White was the biggest issue as far as I am concerned, followed by Lolesio and the idea of playing him at 15 in defence. NZ did basically nothing and we're 26-0 up, purely from Australian errors. Horrible to watch. The good news is that when ...

Byrne definitely isn't good enough. I'd drop him for not getting up in the line for the try in the last phase of play. He was directly responsible for that dogleg and subsequent linebreak.

Do some of you think Murray was anything other than extremely good against Italy? He was better than he has been recently. He was not “extremely good”. Watch France next week for an extremely good scrumhalf. Dupont is probably best in the world at the moment. I didn't have any issues with Murray wh...

West Ham have been treading water for a while but I think this is the year they go down. It'll be them, Fulham plus an other. Maybe West Brom. Fulham, West Brom and Brighton. West Ham should be OK. If we can get a tune out of Haller we will be comfortably mid table. Sheffield United have been as ba...

You'd have to assume POM doesn't play for Ireland after this season, and Farrell is pooing in his pants about his squad. Picking him is pure fear from a guy who I suspect is out of his depth. Development isn't going to be high on his list of priorities at the moment.

Kante is a multiple premier league winner and a world cup winner, he doesn't dictate the tempo of a game but saying he can't pass and that Declan fúcking Rice is better than him is taking piss. I think Chelsea’s issues are at the base of midfield. Kante cannot pass 5 meters and Jorginho is the softest mid in the league. With Silva in the side I’d tempted to play him at DM and put Cesar at CB with Tomori. At least they aren’t calamity players. Silva can slip into CB going forward considerin...

Liverpool won't win the league without Van Dijk. They're not good at all defensively this season. No real stick out teams so far. Safe money would be on City maybe to win but their poor defensively.
