Am I the only one that watched Inoue pound tf out of Tapales?
He really is something else, p4p for me, although I do like Bud.

Re: Anthony Joshua
I’ve never heard that from Lennox. If Buster Douglas and Evander can beat Tyson then young/late 20s Lennox sure can. I think a tall rangy skilled fighter with a great jab was always going to give Mike problems. If I recall correctly Ruddock gave him all he could handle as well. He was beaten by Bus...

Re: Who Was The All Black Drop Goal King?
My first thought was Allan Hewson. Didn't he kick a match winning drop goal against the 1981 Springboks. I remember the days when a free kick was awarded,na player would tap it and send it to another who would go for a droppie, vague memories of fullbacks being the blokes taking most of the shots a...

Re: All Blacks 2024
I’m quite happy BB has signed on for another cycle, you can’t replace experience like his. He might be past his best but he is still a hell of a rugby player and if he is playing well enough to get picked for the ABs good luck to him. As for Mo, if he doesn’t want to be an AB then he isn’t the bloke...

Re: Is it time NZ adopted the Giteau law ?
I’ve never liked the idea and still don’t. We need NZ rugby to be as strong as possible and I don’t see how that can happen with our best playing somewhere else. Although I am open minded about players moving to Aussie Soup teams and still being eligible.

Dalton Papali'i (c) 8. Ardie Savea 9. Cam Roigard 10. Damian McKenzie 11. Mark Tele'a 12. Jordie Barret...

Got a question. All the talk about halfbacks etc, we all think it Roigard, then perhaps Fakatava, Christie, Ratima etc in no particular order etc, and not arguing. Just wondering why a few more aren't starting to throw young Hotham from Mako/Crusader in the mix. I strongly suspect with a decent sup...

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/F-cVSSgbEAAIMQH?format=jpg&name=900x900 I don't think there is a team that has added more quality forwards to their roster than the Rebels (Tupou, LSL are big gets). Couple of good centre options in Proctor and Daigunu (who was a revelation at 13 for QLD and Australia A)...

Funny thread, we just made a WC Final but are in decline… ok. You had the jammiest path to a RWC final ever seen. You only had to win one hard game - and world rugby even loaded the dice for you for that one too. Uruguay and a 9 day turnaround versus Ireland who had to play the Boks and then Scotla...

I think ScoBa would be a great captain but given his last role Robertson May deliberately choose a non-crusader to balance out the power within the group…… I’d rather he just choose who he thinks is the best man for the job no matter what franchise they play for and I reckon that’s exactly what he’...

So what? They did what they had to and won the thing, that’s all that matters. Good on them. Yeah, but if they do that by destroying the game in the process, what do you win but a decaying corpse. Compare this final to 2015. Which would you rather watch again. I don’t believe they are destroying th...

Re: SA are the world champs....but...
There is definitely some anxiety in NZ around rugby as financially we need test rugby and being a small market we need test rugby to have broad rather than niche appeal. Open running rugby is an easier sell than grinding defense. If the Boks style are seen as the template for a successful rugby tea...

When is Sam Canes red card tribunal? Are the All Blacks appealing it on any grounds? I meant that in the sense that if they can win in, then any team can win it. It means that a team doesn't have to have any form to be considered a RWC chance. You can be horribly out of form for 4 years, lose to everyone, have a shit coach and captain and suffer your worst ever thrashing a week out...

I've honestly never been less nervous about a final. I didn't expect to get past the quarters. In fact, I wouldn't have been surprised if Italy had beaten us and we failed to get out of our group. The QF and SF wins were unexpected and pleasant bonuses, so IMO the team has already exceeded my expec...
