Re: Eddie Jones: I need 3 years to change the team
He was unlucky not to win at least one 6 Nations. Had Haskell not run into the post....etc etc.. The RWC was a cock up. The writing was on the wall with the squad selection. He massively panicked. He panicked with the selection for Wales, The stupid thing is that they then had a massive lead to see...

Re: OFFICIAL EU/UK referendum thread
Will the Scots (Scottish referendum no voters) be pissed off in the event of a Brexit vote? Or like the DUP in the north are they just happy to go with a Brexit? Hard to say. The SNP leadership would like to peddle the view that an Out vote legitimises their desire for a new Independence referendum...

Has Mr Tegmark allowed for the fact that a scientifically developed civilisation that has the ability to travel the millions of light years to the nearest civilisation to them (humans do not have this ability) have more than likely already wiped themselves out in a nuclear war before being able to ...

Tigers sign Bristol and England u20's prop Ellis Genge on a short term loan deal. I guess to assess him before a longer deal, as we don't have any particularly pressing prop issues. Good signing I think, he looked very good in last year's JWC or 6N, can't remember which. He's 21 now. Getting a bit ...

Someone has dissected Gove's effort. This is the problem with these decisions - unless you have time, insight and effort to really understand many issues it's hard to make a decision. I read Gove's piece and thought - hmm, he makes some good points - and now read this and think. Oh. This kind of hi...

What an odd question to have asked. I think Mr Tegmark might be a bit silly-minded.Yer Man wrote:Maybe they have, and we're just a racially segregated backwater...“If you have these civilizations that had a 3.5-billion-year head start on us, why haven't they colonized our galaxy?” Mr Tegmark said.

Not wanting to come across too outlandish here but do want to at least pose this question. To the INs, Boris and a lot of the OUTs believe the EU wants a superstate. UK has a great deal. We are in the EU and can trade freely but: - No Schengen - No Euro - No 'ever closer union' or a United State of Europe for us - No disadvantage from being outside the disasterous Eurozone. We would be mad to get out now. It's not confirmed. Has all this been written into a tre...

Doesn't Corbyn also have greater support amongst the young? It's an interesting issue. In the Scottish independence referendum the nationalists accused the older generation of not being brave and hanging on to the status quo. In this case it's the older generation who want "out" of something more t...

Is Kaino flying a few passengers light? Phenomenally dumb thing to do. It secured Martin Johnson the England captaincy too so there is precedent. All he needs t...

Main problem with Cipriani is that his kicking is very erratic this season. which is the reason why he may be wise to pursue the 15 jersey- unless Slade is a preferred choice/strategy to Manu at 12, Cips most likely won't be trusted in the kicking duties in games that matter (not that he is prone t...
