Re: U20 6 Nations 2024

36-8 to Ireland. Ireland not even playing well. Don't fancy that side to beat England 43-8 in the end. Great second half effort in messy conditions. 24 wins in the last 26 games now for Ireland in the Under 20 6 nations. Still have a feeling that England's power up front will end up derailing the t...

I mean, the way that's worded is Telegraph/Daily Mail catnip, but improving female friendly facilities seems a no brainer. I've taken a baby to several games when LI were in the Championship . Whilst I wouldn't personally take one to Twickenham, It's not unreasonable to expect a big national stadium...

My favourite part was at the end when there were dozens of NVA neatly arranged around the crater. All sleeping peacefully in one piece.

Platoon was a nice fable, but a little silly here and there.

And for what it's worth, pretty sure Corbs made his LI debut at 20 and was almost 23 by the time he played a test.

Of course there are welfare considerations, but that's older than plenty of props these days reach those milestones.

He just had shit knees.

Fine not picking him, but Fin Baxter is 22, not a teenager. Any pro prop in the league has been very serious about weights long before hitting that age.

Amend the law to what though, when the player takes a clear step forward? Cue sideways Tony Brown shuffle. Shout the safety word? Hand gesture? If he's stood over the ball, lines up boot, walks backwards several paces, looks up at posts, takes steps out to the side, pauses there for 4-5 seconds and...

Re: Scotland vs France Match Thread

The spirit of the law here is that you should not prevent the tackled player from placing the ball. That's what the ref is looking for in the "release". Nah, that's two separate parts of the same law. You need to release and then let them play the ball. Tacklers must: I mmediately release the ball ...

Aldritt didn't support his weight there. But for once, we'll accept a ref mistake going our way. No release either. Pretty much everything wrong with that one. You win some, you lose some though. I know you don't want too much moaning at refs, but Italy have to be sharper there.

Captain has to be straight in the ref's ear saying it was held to prompt them to have a look at it.
