Re: CWC 1/4 final - NZ vs West Indies

Not to take anything away from the batting, but this bowling attack is toothless Both the wickets were batsmen getting themselves out.. here comes taylor though Benn has been atrocious - the differnce between the two sides could come down to the extra pressure Vettori will apply and the freedom Ben...

Re: SA v Black Craps

I reckon NZ will win this well. Gayle is obviously a big danger but his big scores are few and far between and NZ have a good bowling attack. Windies don't have much depth batting or bowling, so Gayle could fire (in a limited way) and still be on the losing side. NZ are also far more confident and b...

Pretty much as expected. Burrell very lucky to keep his place - May got canned for a far less obvious butchering of a try - and Burrell defends no better than May. Good to see Parling and Lawes starting. We're gradually moving towards full strength there. Burrell is the major weakness in that xv. Be...

Re: spivs do what spivs do best

The £152m was inclusive of European rugby yes. It even says it in the article. Also, there aren't any figures being released so on the face of it we have a 6 year deal being 80% greater than a 4 year deal. So 50% greater would be breaking even. Assuming that it was £52m for the Euro games (that's t...

Re: Who will win the 6 Nations next Weekend?

It's pretty close and very hard to pick a winner. So much so that there's a reasonable chance that two sides could end up with the same points difference - in which case it'll come down to tries scored. Not sure who currently has the most but Wales should top up their tally in Italy. I still think E...

Music/song is the language of the soul. If you can't understand it you don't have one. Deaf people have no soul - way to go  I once went out with a deaf girl - even she liked music and enjoyed dancing to it - she could feel the vibrations of it (at least, I think that's where the vibration...

I reckon Wales are in the box seat. They've improved as the tourament has progressed, so are on a bit of a roll. They won't have any concerns about the possibility of losing whereas Ireland and England will have to secure the game before worrying about points difference. England probably still have ...

Unlucky Ireland. Needed more runs from the top order to make the most of Porterfield's excellent knock. SA mucked it up for them by losing games they were supposed to win - which would have made Ireland's 6 points enough to see them through to the 1/4s.

length means very little if it not backed up by speed - it was the speed that caused us to time the shots wrong leading to about 6 of the wickets and no - Ireland only play a test nation about once a year and not against speed like that - south Africa don't have speed quit like that Most of their p...

I thought Nowell had his best game for England today. He seemed to really get involved and took it to The Scottish, beating quite few players as well. Watson was a bit quiet - mind you, he'd have been on the score sheet but for Burrell being such an idiot.
