Re: The official cycling thread

Frame and wheels are more important than groupset components (particularly as there's little difference between Tiara and Sora - they're both shit). Frame fit is the most important - the world's best bike that is the wrong size is still f**ked. Wheels are rotating mass - the bike with the best combo...

Wow, some real stunners that have been posted these last couple of days  I have been trying to get a descent photo of a Lilac Breasted Roller in flight since forever and either ended up with just a blurrrr or something completely out of focus. At last I got something that's almost there http...

Bike4work is open again at my company so I have ordered myself a £1000 voucher. Now I just need to decide what to spend it on - Contendors are: Giant Defy 1 - more likely a Defy 2 and some extra gear, Tiagra rather than 105's though (at least it's not the hateful SORA crap) http://www.giant-bicycle...

Re: The official cycling thread

The benefit of being attached to your pedals is immense. Anyone who says otherwise needs to man the fudge up and learn to use them properly. You simply cannot accelerate nearly as fast without them. Add in less rotational weight + a stiff set of carbon-soled shoes and you waste no energy whatsoever....

Typical lazy journalism. All of the things mentioned are accessible on the normal web. This is just a propaganda piece against Tor systems to paint it as a "terrorist" enterprise It seemed reasonably fair to me. If you provide a service that offers absolute secrecy, there are plenty who'll abuse it.

Or it could be tight ITB - makes kneecap not track properly when walking/running. Causes a shitload of pain. Easily fixed.
