Re: NZ hosting Australia 2024- Cricket series thread

No Conway for the opener, Nicholls called in as cover. I'm guessing Young gets shunted to opener again where he previously got dropped from. Will be I interesting to see of they go for actual spinner, Santner spinner to add batting cover, or rely on part timers like ravindra. I think the part timers...

Did anyone catch the Sunday show on TV 1 last night? A bunch of cops said they just don't have the resources to enforce the gang patch ban, especially in small towns where they are out numbered by the gangs. Yeah I've spoken to cops who say the same thing. They simply don't have the manpower. It’s ...

Blues seem like they have a repeat of past year. Backs that can win games if they have a platform, a forward pack better than most but probably not good enough to beat the best sides.

At this level it's still passable to be shy of 2m if the rest of their game works out

This team should line up against the wall with no pads and let Ferguson bowl full tilt at them.

Will be interesting hiw the team approach this one. Last year vs the drua playing in Fiji the blues went very conservative amd suffocated the life out if the hime team.

I wonder if they'll chance their arm a bit more given it won't be as ridiculously hot in Auckland, or stick to percentage play
