Re: What position do/did you play?
E Did you play for Leicester? No, but went to a training session with Galweigans once. Would have turned out for them if I hadn't been booted out of the country! They booted you out of Galway? What crime did you commit? It was actually more of an airline nightmare. Long story. Basically, I wanted t...

Re: Naive question about hearing anything after a job interv
I heard back about a grad role the afternoon after the interview.
I got a call from a law firm 3 months after an interview asking when I could start.
It can't hurt being proactive and following them up (as long as you're not a pest)

When, exactly, did hookers start throwing into lineouts? Good question. Not sure, OB is possibly your man on this. The winger used to throw it in. I'm having a right guess but I think we are in 80s territory. Nope. I was throwing in at lineout at school and I finished my schooling in '72. Late sixt...

Of course it's an answer. Penguin suggested that the lurkers may be more prone to believing wild conspiracy theories than those who actively engage in the discourse. I accept that he never linked to any study he mentioned, but it sounds extremely plausible to me. Therefore I consider it important. ...

Right, you guys know that trigger warnings are just "I'm going to talk about rape now, if this upsets anyone don't read/leave the room"? And safe spaces are just "you can come in here and talk to me confidentially and without judgement if need be"? The latter has existed throughout my life and the ...

A Trigger lock is more effective than a trigger warning IMO.
I know some houses now have built in safe spaces in case of home invasion etc. Seems unnecessary unless you live in South Africa or something.
