Re: NZ Politics Thread

I was at Vic as an "adult" student in the early 2000s . Interestingly we had a couple of kaumatua in Heretaunga called Old Dave Stone and Young Dave Stone, but when I was in my teens Young Dave Stone was pretty old. I wonder if David is from the same whanau? Maybe he's Young Young Dave Stone. So wa...

Anyone else feel like since Ardie is not playing this year, the Canes backrow now have more of a traditional balanced look about them? We currently have a 7 who plays 7, a 6 who plays 6 and an 8 who plays 8? Hmm.. I'm currently undecided about who between Lakai or Kirifi should be starting and who ...

Chiefs are gonna win this one I feel. Hurricanes haven't lost a game all season they are due a loss whereas the Chiefs are more battle hardened and will be implementing the 'learings' of the Crusaders and Reds losses. They have a few points to prove and are going to want it more than these flashy C...

Re: The OFFICIAL Capt Hurricane Hurricanes vs Chiefs Thread - Super Rugby Round 8

That was a good game. Tough and well fought. The Canes bench was too strong for the Chiefs bench. Canes were relentless. A couple of dodgy contacts were concerning. I feel like we haven't learnt a lot after lax officiating in last year's Super Rugby - ultimately leading to one player being yellowed...

If the Hurricanes want to keep dropping the ball, this is what you get. It's probably been the worst 20 minutes I've seen the Hurricanes play in any game this year. You can't do that against the Chiefs.

The Canes have a got some defensive problems they need to address, which the commentators have just commented on. There's been too many players coming out of the line in the number 1 channel which has bit them on the ass. For the Chiefs, they need to try and quicker ball. We haven't seen the best of...
