And no, I don't invest in single stocks. Ok, the reason I asked was that I have spent a shit load of time figuring out investi...

I'm guessing Vanguard or other major fund managers are not available in NZ? The funds you listed seem to have quite low fees (0.15%) for a global fund  though they don't seem to provide much detail on asset allocation. We get Vanguard via NZ platforms. I invest in two of their ETFs, US and...

Re: Investing
FX is famously volatile. No hedge is both perfect and low-cost Hence, more risky I still don't understand the difference in risk, and how an unhedged fund is less risky / volatile. As Pole says, without seeing the detail… It is unlikely the hedge is perfect. It’ll have limitations Even if it is ‘fu...

I have a question for the investment experts. I'm looking at investing in a mutual fund of international global shares. I studied that quite a lot, Tehui. Lost 2 brothers to workplace injuries and got quite into Health and Safety about 25 years ago. Turns out it really is a con in all but the most dire of cases. It's about punishment, not prevention in this country. Sorry to hear that. My grandfather was killed in a...

Hurricanes deserve to be betting favourites. This will be a pivotal game for the Hurricanes, as the Chiefs are a good side. The backs might get all the glory, but I'm looking forward to seeing the battle up front.
