Despite other posts calling for World Rugby to grow a pair, what does NZ help for Australian rugby mean?
This is a 6:1 economy and they, the 6 are now begging for financial and/or labour help from the 1.
Get. f**ked.

Re: Wallabies 2023
Not knowing much about rugby league, the players that rugby Australia seem to go after are all backs. Is there any positions in rugby league comparible to positions within the pack? Comparable as regards running the ball into stiff defence or tackling, certainly. However, league has no lineout, unc...

I'm having a laugh at Australia, but genuinely from it's the fact Oz haunted Wales for so many years and they were a team I so feared for so long when I was younger. However I genuinely feel for Oz Rugby fans. I'm also a tad concerned for Australian Rugby generally, seem to be on the downwards spir...

When you look back over 2021 and 2022 Australia looked like they were starting to get their act together at least on the international stage. 2 wins over France and a 1 point loss 2 wins over South Africa Win over Wales, England (but lost a number of games too) narrow loss to Ireland and to Scotlan...

Re: NZ needs to help Australian rugby
Nope. Why would NZ help Australia at the expense of our own?
If it's any consolation, rugby is on the decline and 10 years from now it will be a marginalised sport. Safety, laws, and officiating problems all feeding into the eventual demise.
Enjoy it while you can.

Re: Commiserations Australia
Well the one positive for Australia is that the only way is up. And it surely will lead to a root and branch examination of how union is developed, nurtured and coached over there along with all the other things in terms of outreach and player base. The last thing we need is for league to take over...

Went to this GP and what a trip of a lifetime. Seats for the three days at Turn 2 grandstand. Apart from the GP itself my highlights were: - Getting out of our seats and walking general admission trackside. You're 3m from the track and 10m from the cars, and it is electric. Trackside at Turn 4 is am...

Will Wales knock Australia out of the World Cup?
It's the weakest pool in RWC history and there is the possibility Wales will fail to show up because, Welsh reasons. But this seriously is the best chance to send the shackle-dragging crims home in disgrace at pool stage.
Will they do it?

I know you're being satirical here, but it really isn't fair on front line workers. Let's not forget, it hasn't been all that long (2016) since WINZ workers were shot and killed. Both England and Australia are awful countries but because to me Australia is closer, therefore bigger, and more awful because of that, I am supporting England tonight.
