Re: The Official Welsh Rugby Thread
I'd like to see a Beck - Jiffy Jnr centre partnership for the first oz test. Might force us to actually play some rugby, instead of just relying on the bosh. Roberts hasn't been right for a while, and was nursed by Jiffy Jnr through this 6 Nations campaign. Although I'd like to see Beck go out ther...

First ride of the year this morning! :D It was f**king brutal, felt like I wanted to be sick before I'd even got out of my village, and I still had anotehr 5 and half miles to go. x( Got it done though, but according to iMapmyride, I managed it in a paltry 33 minutes or so, a 8-9 minutes slower than...

Re: Great Planet Rugby questions to which the answer is 'No'
Why? Because some highly-rated players have also made an excellent amount of tackles with a really impressive success rate? No, because 50 odd tackles over 4 international games (testrugby only has him at 44), although slightly above average, is not such an amazing feat. Now if he had put in 20 tac...

Chateris called up. Rees in contention. Roberts looks likely to be out. I would have rested Roberts even if he had been fit, anyway Interesting selection dilemma for Gatland if Charteris is fit. Ian Evans has done well, Ryan Jones has been immense and AWJ was alright. Where would Charteris fit in? ...

Watched X-Men: First Class last night. Thought it was very good. Have to say that sometimes they can overdo it (watched the Grreen Lantern the otehr day as well, and it wasn't anywhere near as good)...but the approaching of comic book adaptations from a "what if they were real, and I mean really rea...

How was Davies not injured by that cheap shot by Murray? Momentum and adrenalin I imagine. Jiffy is lucky that the ground seemed damp enough for him to be spun, as had his knee's found some purchase and gripped, then he could have at the very least have had a sever dead leg, and at worst, f**ked up...

Re: The Official Welsh Rugby Thread
What Davies has got which is priceless at the top level is a real change of pace - his try against Ireland in the WC utilised it brilliantly, as did his second try on Sun. I think his deceptive fatness plays a role in that...it's as if the Irish defence can't believe he's managed to accelerate as f...

I honestly thought he was pulled off but after watching the game again it was RP that was at fault for Bests try, not AC. Hopefully we stick with him and let him develop. I just replayed Arkham Asylum, funnily enough. Linear but again, so much fun to play. It'd be a real shame if they don't make another. Edit: Ah, so they did! Right, I'll give that a year or so and get me a copy. Oooohhhh yeah. I thought Arkham Asylum was excellent. Arkham City was dreadful (the lit...

Is it only me that thinks that it's not the best idea to keep a well known nervous-nelly in Hook on, uh, tenterhooks by waiting to see if Priestland is OK?
Surely if we wanted to imbue him with some confidence, we should have just said 'Look, Priestland's out, we're going with Hook'.
