Re: OFFICIAL 'TAHS v 'CANES MATCH THREAD

What a cock TJP. Canes have been talking to much all game.

Soft D all game, and paying for blowing the try early in the second.

Re: OFFICIAL 'TAHS v 'CANES MATCH THREAD

Easy to say now but we should've gone for the try and the lead. Tah's are scoring tries as soon as they get in our half. Soft ones too.

Re: OFFICIAL 'TAHS v 'CANES MATCH THREAD

Loving the banter with Kearns and Kafer.

Thought he could've had a second look at the last one, gave him about 10s to get the ball down. Deserved try though.

Re: Bath v Saints

He got the right call in the end but bottled the regulation, he was playing a penalty advantage and I thought had to stick with that, even if he admitted he got it wrong. Bath should be gutted, but deserve it for not closing out the game and trying to get a cheap penalty.

Re: Jared Payne

Payne could've done some serious damage to himself to be honest, it was reckless for more than just Goode. The thing is when going after such a kick is that it's moving away from you, what most players would do is judge first whether they will we able to effectively contest the ball. Goode had right...

Re: Jared Payne

I was surprised by the red, but given the severity of the landing it's hard to argue with. Annoyed me at the time because of the game as a contest. Someone mentioned on the other thread that Payne was looking at him 3s before impact which is bullshit, he saw him at the last moment. Payne during his ...

Re: NRL player gets neck viciously broken in spear tackle

That is horrific watching him look at his motionless body, so sad. It wasn't malicious but they should take the lifting out of the game, same as the tackle into the back of the knees. This will have repercussions in rugby too I'd say, god I feel so sorry for the guy. Seems to be an extra big shame w...

Re: Yellow card to red card Wales vs Scotland

I don't think the incident was so bad as far as intention goes , bit of a brain fart that ended up a lot worse than expected. In this case the end result made it a red, just because the act was reckless. Could've connected with a shoulder not the face but he copped him flush on the jaw, no doubt on...

Re: Why no BP in the 6N???

Bonus points wouldn't work, I'm just surprised that based on the simple nature of the points system, the winner in a two way tie isn't simply the winner of the game between those two teams. Points dif for the unlikely scenarios of three or more way ties.

Re: Ireland v New Zealand - Match Thread 24th Nov @14:00

Ireland were fantastic in that first half and most of the second, gutting for them, but that last try was amazing. We were just outpassioned in the first 30 IMO. Our tackling wasn't aggresive enough and Ireland made easy yardage through the middle. I thought the tries were very soft, a few of Luatua...

Re: Have we reached Peak Arrogance?

Looking at what the other teams have to offer, is it really that crazy to think of a few undefeated seasons? France actually scare me the most right now, have we a 3 test series against them next year? Could be cracker, may have to get the bottles ready :x One could also assume that come 2014, Kaino...

Re: Everyday Things That Annoy You

People listening to their ipods/phones/pads at a level that disturbs me and others. People unable to read a paper correctly on the tube or train. People talking loudly on their phone on the train or bus. People who don't move down the carriage. Short people with umbrellas. Women wearing trainers to...
