Re: The new official and sanctioned Brexit thread.
Don't know if it needs a parliamentary vote but if not, the bravest thing May could do is secretly revoke article 50 and announce it when it's done followed by a mic drop and a ride off into the sunset. Would be very brave as it would require legislation. Also, didn't the ECJ ruling specify that an...

So do we now just wait until 28th March, tell the EU, nah we are not leaving yet. Hold a GE, tories all but wiped out and we all hail our benevolent leader St Jeremy who will lead us to the land of milk and honey outside the EU with a vastly improved deal because he is such a nice chap who brought ...

Re: The new official and sanctioned Brexit thread.
The ECJ judgement refers to the unilateral ability to revoke A50 after the "member state has taken the revocation decision in accordance with its constitutional requirements". So that looks like parliament would need to vote on revoking, possibly legislation as well? Dunno what the requirements woul...

I'm not sure what is wrong with some national humiliation. It may be an antidote to the nationalistic hubris that created the mess in the first place. Of course if overdone (like the armistice terms for Germany at the end of WWI...) it could have contributed to WW2. However a humiliation like Suez w...

But it’s only 10 billion or so, spare change down the back of the treasury sofa. Not in one year. Plus it's been coated as much cheaper than the EU project due to its scale and having no commercial aspect. As I said that's 10 billion from 7.7 trillion. Or as I said affordable. Money isn't the biggest barrier to the BrexSats - it is availability of frequencies. "we voted Brexit, give us frequencies so our brave boys don't crash our ships or hit the wrong target with a drone strike" won't cut any ice with ITU members who allocate global frequencies. They won't even know the...

The Beam supports voice control using Alexa so you would be able to control the music by voice, depending what music services you have.
Also turning the TV on or off by voice, although the TV will need to support that functionality over an HDMI interface.

Also a Sonos fan but only worth it if you plan to use the networking between speakers. So with Sonos, you’ll be able to listen to the TV on the kitchen speakers or play music on all speakers at the same time. The latest Sonos One and Beam speakers have got voice control using Alexa and other services.
