Re: UFC to ban testosterone replacement/TRT
TRT? FFS that sport is so full of blatant roiders I just assumed they turned a blind eye to it. The irony is that the people who were on TRT were actually getting tested more. The UFC doesn't do any random out of competition testing and doesn't test blood. It should really be a piece of piss (pun i...

Re: Lethal King Hit punch: out in two years
So, the killers of the soldier just got life and 45 (I think), for murder and this guy gets 4.5. Different crimes in terms of pre-meditation and motive, same crime in terms of someone being dead. I cannot help but feel that the sentances of 45 and life were more related to the politics of an islami...

Re: Lethal King Hit punch: out in two years
It's the act of a coward, pure and simple. The whole idea is to strike when the victim is not expecting in order to prevent any retaliation. Abbott is right about one thing, the term "coward punch" is totally appropriate. This and getting around in big groups picking fights with individuals or other...

Re: The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug
I'll be watching the film and I don't give a fudge if they deviate from the original book. The Hobbit was a good read when I was ten. Lord of The Rings was boring as shit as an adult. I couldn't even finish the second book. The movies however, were absolutely fantastic. I'd read enough of the book t...

Mate ... I rarely bother opening this thread these days, but this is f**king funny shit.
Never mind the fact that (as far as I'm aware), GR and I have totally opposing opinions on this particular topic. Take a look at my post on the previous page, sherlock.

Consider a few facts: 1) scientists secure research funds by being original and innovative, -not- by all being in furious agreement with each other. 2) There is not a single scientific institution on the planet, including every national academy of sciences on earth, the CSIRO and NASA, that disagree...

I think the Irish will rebound strongly from losing to us. And the ABs will be complacent. Could be a surprise I reckon.....only be 20 in it. This sounds pretty accurate to me, I think the same thing. However, if NZ put in a similar performance as they did against England, I would think the scoreli...

I really don't see much of a gap between England and Ireland, despite recent results. Did you watch the matches on Saturday? Both New Zealand and Ireland under-performed. I have nothing against England ... I sometimes will get behind them depending on circumstances. I just think they were ext...

- Tom Cruise (who I actually quite like as an actor) should never have been Jack Reacher. I never understand the controversy over this. Having read a few of the books and watched the film it's a complete non issue. The books are complete pulp, trashy beachside novels and the characters physical des...

Absolutely disgusting.
Also hypocritical that the same people that jump up and down about this will label you a racist bigot (as if race has anything to do with it) if you happen to notice that Islam has a problem with violence and oppression of women.

I'm going to write a new fitness book guaranteed to bring results. I will make a zillion dollars.
Chapter 1. How to Lose Weight.
Eat less and move more.
Chapter 2. How to Gain Muscle.
Lift heavy things and eat lots of healthy food.
End of thread.

I've just being doing burpees, so I won't bother posting my routine every day.
It's this:
Mon-Tue: 50 Burpees
Thur-Fri: 50 Burpees
Sometimes I do some squats with cement bags or gun-sculpting curls if I feel like it.

Fair enough mate. I just feel people over-complicate things. Is there any actual research that suggests you really need protein that quickly after a work-out? I read somewhere that it was bullshit, but some sort of proper study either way will convince me. As I'm travelling atm, my training has been...

Personally I'm totally unconvinced that you need as much protein as a lot of people reckon, or so quickly after a workout. After-all, there is a multi-billion dollar industry agenda to get you drinking as much of the shit as possible as quickly as possible. I also heard that new research suggests a ...

She's in great shape. Wonder do her boobs give her grief when lifting. Bigger than you'd typically see in a girl doing olympic lifting.
