Re: Is Dave Rennie the worst international rugby coach in history?

NZR had Rennie, Razor and Foster to choose from and chose Foster. I don't think skin colour entered into anyone's thinking at all, aside from actual race obsessives who even think about those factors. I think Foster is doing rather well. Jury still out on whether we got that right or wrong. Foster ...

Picking an adequate Bridge instead of an in form Ioane is laughable. The only way George gets in the run on team is if ALB hasn't recovered from his hamstring niggle. I'm assuming ALB is still not available so Ioane will be at 13. If ALB plays, Ioane at 11 with Bridge on the bench Makes sense.

Does Bridge's high ball reception skills compensate for Ioane's dynamism and career best form? Not so sure. Also haven't seen Ioane under a high ball for awhile. Is he really deficient there? Can't remember.

I wonder if Reiko has overtaken ALB as preferred centre Dear god I hope not. Ioane is fantastic on the wing, has the wingers instinct for the outside break or the inside step, and has the requisite pace. He hasn't shown any evidence, to my eyes at least, of improving his distribution or defensive o...

I was stunned at how the ref was almost gagging to give Swinton a red card and had to be convinced otherwise...but then let a bloke shoulder charge a prone player in the head after the whistle. Just weird. Saw the game with the sound off, what was the reasoning there? For Swinton it looked like a p...

Ioane - Reece - J Barrett with Taukei'aho, Bower, Ofa, Paddy, Jacobsen, Weber, DMac and Jordan on the bench? Something like that? Not confident with SW, Mo and Snecky missing

Demeaning and taunting would be, after another player has perfectly legitimately tried to take a ball off you for a quick penalty, calling him a "pussy" and saying he's "too young to show off" for having the temerity to want to play on. He was absolutely playing down the clock. How have you not seen rugby players do this, everywhere, forever? I disagree. I've played and watched Rugby my entire life and it was very clear. You generally see it when a player scores a try after a long run. They don't put the ball down straight away, m...

Can I just say that Tupou Vaa'i looked like a dickhead scoring his 2nd try. It was an easy try coming off a nice Scott Barrett offload, but he held onto the ball in the in-goal line and made the Pumas exhausted defenders come to him before placing the ball down. The ABs I mean, obviously. They've got their off the back of 9 relatively comfortable wins a row and the Boks tanking, but is this the weakest team to ever get the official top ranking?
