Re: Springboks - Pumas July 29th,the "not wooden spoon" match

That is quite the difference. One was a successful charge down, the other not. Today the kicker should have chosen to pull the kick and make a move instead. He put himself in a spot. Lambie was hit after the kick was away. There is danger but a case may be made that a jumping player who successfull...

Geez that Williams incident was a shocker. All well and good saying it was a successful charge down but if your charge down technique involves jumping straight into the head of the kicker you’re clearly doing it wrong. That it wasn’t even a penalty is completely contrary to everything we are told a...

Re: Malcolm Marx is the best player in the world and is a bench warmer

Some laughable posts above. He’s still a fantastic player and should obviously be starting for the Boks and playing at least 60mins every test. His throwing hasn’t been an issue for years but narratives tend to stick for people who don’t watch much. The difference in team performance when he starts ...

Not much to tell. The pass looked forward initially but it wasn't. Nice dive at the end.
Think he’s referring to the cross kick. Messy but looked good to me.

Good game from the ABs. The Boks looked their traditional flat first game on tour. Glad Rassie is getting them to France early. What was the story with Kolbe's first try? Not much to tell. Seriously impressive 1st quarter from the ABs. Bok flank selections left us badly underpowered. Hopefully the last we see of Willemse at 10. Esterhuizen is miles ahead of DDA and we need to go Kolbe/KLA on the wings. Huge impact from PSdT, Duane and Marx (how do they let Bongi play more minutes than...

   Rugby isn’t like the FA Cup where Div 4 can beat Premier sides. You go down the tiers in rugby and every tier has a huge power advantage over the others. Since 2019 we've basically been trading wins every other game with them and they absolutely hammered us in that first game last year. Probably the biggest losing margin of the Foster era. ...
