Re: Bulls 2020 LIKE A PHOENIX FROM THE ASHES [maybe]

Listen, as a big WP/Stormers supporter, I dislike the Bulls. But, as far as derbies go in South Africa, no rivalry is bigger than the WP vs the Bulls. So I'm glad that White is there, it's just another step in making the rivalry great again. The history, the tradition, the pedigree -> it's great.

Re: Sharks 2020

Boks don't play with flair and an attacking mindset. They are a defensively structured side . I can see Fassi pushing Willie for the 15 jersey. Nobody else really putting their hand up in that department. But Bosch, as much as I like him, hasn't done enough to dislodge Handre or Elton. Maybe if one...

I don't agree with all the regulations, but it is what it is and I will abide by them. Had a pinched nerve which kept me from running middle Jan to end of March and then when I healed up, the lockdown came. So super stoked to be going for a run tomorrow and get proper fit again. I know he's already in the side, but here are Corne Krige's highlights from the 2002 game against England. Stamping, punching, a flying headbutt on Matt Dawson, and taking out his own fly half while trying to decapitate Dawson. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlFMKUS7ubI Yeah Krige was a piece of s...

Anyone who ranks a losing finalist ahead of a RWC winner is barking mad. 1995 All Blacks were a better team than the Springboks. The following year proved that 3 games to 1. Peaked a whole year too late. Nah just in full health rather than all crocked on the same day. The '95 ABs were all as crook ...

Victor Matfield - forearm to Dan Carter's face. Luckily didn't affect Carter's good looks. Dean Greyling - another forearm ; this time to the GOAT's face. Historic one Burger Geldenhuys breaks Andy Dalton's jaw, 1986. Victor's arm was on Byron Kelleher. And a hit on his face can only improve it.

Liam Messam, 43 caps. Nothing against the guy, but he was only ever a stopgap who became first choice when Kaino was in Japan and the cupboard was a bit bare at 6. A bit harsh. He played very well during Kaino's absence and never let the team down. Apart from his head high tackle that cost us the g...

Juandre Kruger somehow won 17 caps in the second row for the Springboks. Unthinkable now given our ridiculous depth in that position. Similarly, Flip van der Merwe won 36 caps. At his best he was pretty effective but, again, he’d barely crack the top 10 amongst our current stocks Jannie du Plessis ...
