I think “pretty good time” is a little unfair. It’s 4th in the Olympic trial. It’s a fecking good effort for someone who is more of a fitness instructor than pro athlete.

There was a guy who ran at the local park run when it was a thing. He came 45th (or there abouts) in the London marathon one year. I was just happy to get into the second lap before he finished the race.

Just looked it up. 2:23:53 in 2017. Fark me.

I’ve done a couple of her classes on the peloton. She’s built like a stick and makes it look utterly effortless. I crawl off there looking like a physical wreck with minutes left to live and she’s not even broken into a sweat.
