Oh right. Misread that, thought it was the team this week.

I imagine the team will resemble that of the SA match, but with Retallick.

He's only started one fewer test at 14 than at 15, so I'm not sure he's out of position on the wing.

Re: RWC QF: All Blacks vs Ireland: MATCH THREAD: Sat 19th Oc

I thought the midfield was set as 12.Crotty 13.ALB 23.SBW. But after seeing the Italy selection which was 12. ALB 13.Goodhue 23.SBW I'm not so sure now. The team for Italy was never announced? A team was published as the supposed line up for the game. Looked pretty likely. Midfield of ALB, Goodhue ...

Not enough has ever been made of the number of bogans that entered the fray just to be involved in a bit of debauchery. 3:30pm NZT. Assuming they go full strength, I'd like to see something like this: 15. B Barrett 14. Reece 13. Lienert-Brown 12. Crotty 11. Bridge 10. Mo'unga 9. Smith 8. Read 7. Cane 6. Savea 5. To me the only selection questions left are: (a) Coles vs Taylor - they played 40 mins each vs SA so probably not much difference who starts tbh, I assume it'll be Coles. (b) Crotty vs SBW - Crotty got the nod against SA (albeit with SBW lacking game time) but SBW has looked good in the pool stages...
