Re: Welsh Summer Tour
Could do a lot worse than taking Owen Williams on tour. Looking very comfortable at Tigers and putting in mature performances. A little inconsistent off the tee still, but he is looking really well rounded with a good head on his shoulders. Firmly first choice at the moment. It's amazing how player...

Journeyman?
Wasn't Goosen the next "Golden Boy" after his U20s showing a year or two back?

Re: Welsh Summer Tour
Cheers, Penguin. Hook is too useful for his own good. His deft little chip with his left foot when Scotland thought they had him cornered against the touchline was a thing of beauty, wasn't it? Try to Wales ..... Fullback, centre or outsidehalf, he'd do. This summer tour is going to be bruising, bru...

The Rugby Championship Rhinos
Just a thought for you guys - How do you feel about a SH equivalent of the British and Irish Lions? An annual/biennial tour in the NH Autumn by a group of 40 to 50 players to take on France, England, Ireland, Scotland, Italy and Wales, of course? Biennial to ensure that players aren't burnt out or A...

Re: Welsh Summer Tour
Would you lot desist with f**king Patchell, he has a semi decent breakthrough season and has been crap since. He has had a crap second season in a very crap blues team. Been a tough year for anyone at the blues to shine. He showed me enough last year to think he is going to be a hell of a player in...

Re: At the hospital with my son who's been admitted.
Painful and unpleasant chest infection, flagg. As my old Mum used to say, "Warm drinks with lots of honey right at the beginning". BTW, the bronchia are rather important gubbins for breathing and that's where bronchitis is sited. An oncologist you say? That's a concern - but try not to show the lad ...

Hamilton class of the field in the second session. Mercedes say the stop was down to "human error" as the calibration of an oil pump(?) wasn't done properly. Fastest man through the Speed Trap was Bottas at 317kph, Hamilton is 1.2 seconds a lap quicker than Bottas and the Mercedes engined cars are w...

Re: That was a massive kick up the Arse!!
Wales don't have all the parts - we badly need a game breaker like Shane Williams.
Shane Williams MkII could be Jordan Williams and I hope he stays fit for the next couple of months as that sort of player will be needed in South Africa.

That was a massive kick up the Arse!!
England destroyed Wales on Sunday. We were totally outplayed as our halfbacks were tried and found wanting, Priestland in particular. Webb limped off and I hope and pray that it's not yet another knee Op in waiting for Rhys ........... Leigh Halfpenny has had his shoulder dislocated and he's out for...

Re: Arctic sea ice coverage back to 'normal' levels
The Arctic ice cap is a relatively thin smear of ice. The Antarctic ice cap isn't - Bramwell, Martyn. Glaciers and Ice Caps. Belgium: Franklin Watts, 1986: 19. "The average thickness of the Antarctic ice is 2,000 m (6,500 feet), and the greatest measured thickness is more than 4,770 m (15,650 feet)....
