No, safe and effective What is the legal cut off point? There are a lot of drugs that can kill you... paracetamol, Ibuprofen, etc, so is there a threshold? Or is it just that it saves more people than it kills? When are we forced to take paracetamol? Were you forced to take a COVID vaccine?

You're right Nols but you have a few on here mainly colonial types who don't like immigration from particular ethnicities to this part of the world. What the Brits on here forget...what makes their country amazing is their diversity. It's what fuels their creativity and is what makes them the envy ...

It's much more complex than "furriners came and ruined things". We hit a boom for the guts of 2 decades, had a shit load of cheap loans, and everyone exposed themselves horribly. When it went tits up in 2008 it hit really hard. There was no construction on any significant scale for about 6-8 years....

Seems to me Ireland was just fine until this unregulated influx from wherever started to bite you in the arse? Voting for terrorists in your parliament and blaming 'the Brits' is the answer over there, whereas we lock up cvnts like Tommy Robinson. It's much more complex than "furriners came and rui...

Sad seeing people pile on someone who has openly admitted to having mental health issues and working with a therapist. Agreed. He needs to seek help to get whatever issues he has sorted out. Not going to bars until the early hours would be a good start. I reckon 90% of what's written is absolute bo...

The reason we're getting a surge of migrants from the UK is down to our own wonderful judiciary. By saying UK is not a safe country, the migrants have started coming here knowing we can't send them back there. There will be legislation very soon to deal with that so we can't have judges making stuf...

You could equally argue that Mao and Stalin caused the escalation by publicly supporting a 'side' - unless you have an inclination to want to blame it all on the yanks. I'm not sure I get this. It's true that the whole thing was probably catnip for Mao and Khruschev, but the Vietnamese were always ...

My exact thought on reading that bit. I’d love the US to properly retreat from global geo politics. And see how long It is before they’re begged to return. Particular by tiny Australia in the far distant pacific. Even if you believe that on balance the US fulfils a valuable role in the world (I'm o...

Question is was it intended to stop boats or to export problem to Ireland...or was the latter unforseen? What it comes down to is whether the UK will accept these country shopping 'refugees' back from Ireland. Ireland can't just send them back if he UK won't accept them. How would an AI be trained?, not sure there's enough good data, and you might get the garbage in garbage out effect, unless we eliminated games with French refs, and dickson Trained on physics modelling. Plus it would be able to watch both sides and all players simultaneously. The game would never ...

Re: What are the bored thoughts on the coming A.I. revolution?
I'm not saying get rid of refs, I'm saying the AI would do the quantitative parts of a refs duty, like watch offsides, forward passes, knock-on etc. Hmm. They could probably do that now without ai as it's rules based rather than reliant on probabilities? They'd probably do a better job at reffing t...

Re: What are the bored thoughts on the coming A.I. revolution?
I've been saying for a while now that we surely must be at a stage where we even without AI we should be able to insert chips in balls/boots, alongside multiple camera angles, which then could be used to judge things like offsides and forward passes with mm accuracy...so with AI, it should be a pie...

Given a few / several cameras at various angles, and with decent computing power, do you think the most recent versions of AI could ref a rugby match to people's (general) satisfaction and in real-time?
