Re: Wales Vs France • Official 6Nations Match Thread • 10/03/2024
So Wales will need a BP win and deny Italy a BP to avoid the spoon?

Re: 6-2 split
Not sure why coaches continue to take such a huge risk by opting for a 6-2 bench split? It cost the Blues the match yesterday, they had a halfback playing on the wing for three quarters of the game. I know the Springboks won the last RWC with a 6-2 split, but I don't actually think it in itself was...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
We need to nurture and look after those Edogbo boys We have a 6’ 10” teenager in the U20s There is potential of a monster pack in the future (front row could be a problem) But we need to find pace in the backs that was obvious yesterday The English backs were dynamite Had they been able to hold the...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
It's the nature of our playing pool that we just don't have the sort of depth other countries have, especially when player development has more or less collapsed in 2 of the big provinces (Munster and Ulster obviously). Munster might be coming right but as long as Irish rugby relies on a handful of...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
I’ve no interest in the championship next week now. Even if we do win it, it’s tarnished by the fact we lost to England, who will take huge confidence from beating the supposedly “best team in the world”. Not a chance we are the best team in the world. Apart from the France match, we’ve looked aver...

Re: The Official and ONLY England v Ireland Match Thread
As I correctly predicted yesterday, Ireland bottled it again. Poor leadership against a mediocre Sprinbok Lite team, you can see why England disposed of Farrell. I don’t think Farrell was the one who soiled himself. You need to look at the lads on the field. Plenty of experience and big match exper...

Doris has another "quiet" game Yeah he has been poor overall. Im sick to death of being let down by Irish rugby. Had given up on rugby after the qf exit. Got excited again this 6 nations. Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Pace is fixed with Hansen and Ringrose coming back, even JOB. It's not fixed though. Those guys are quick, certainly quicker than those out there today, but none of them are a flyer. It would remain an issue against sides who have genuine pace. It would help us be better balanced for sure, but pace...

We somehow could have won it despite being dominated in the forwards.

Re: The Official and ONLY England v Ireland Match Thread
We've lost control of the game for sure. Couldn't begrudge England taking this, they've done all the work. A much needed kick in the arse either way. Wut? Does not make any sense you loon. You ok there bud? We need to be tested in difficult games. If we come out of it intact that's all to the good....
